Brooks Lee Serving As Designated Hitter Against Astros
Brooks Lee is serving as the designated hitter and is batting ninth for the Twins on Saturday versus the visiting Houston Astros and right-hander Hunter Brown. Lee, the team's No. 2 prospect per MLB Pipeline, made his major-league debut on Wednesday and went 2-for-4 with an RBI against the Detroit Tigers. The 23-year-old former eighth overall pick in 2022 out of Cal Poly has gone 6-for-11 (.545) with a double, four RBI, a walk and two strikeouts in his first three big-league games. Lee obviously won't have a ton of DFS upside in the nine-hole for Minnesota, but he deserves to be rostered in most fantasy leagues for his high-end upside while playing regularly for the Twins as long as Royce Lewis (groin) remains sidelined on his latest injured-list stint.
