Broncos Defense Nowhere Near The Fantasy Radar In Week 6
1 year agoWe shouldn't have to tell you this, but a Denver Broncos defense that allowed an eye-opening 70 points to the Miami Dolphins in Week 3 shouldn't be started in their Week 6 Thursday night matchup against the defending Super Bowl-champion Kansas City Chiefs. Despite that embarrassment and the fact they're allowing a league-high 36.2 points per game, their defense/special teams unit somehow ranks tied for 12th in overall fantasy points through five weeks thanks to a kickoff returned for a touchdown and a fumble recovery returned for a score. Denver's D has also let up a league-high 450.6 total yards per game. The Chiefs offense hasn't been their typical dominant self so far in 2023, but they should have tight end Travis Kelce (ankle) available and should be able to put up points at will against this porous defense.
