Kansas City Royals shortstop prospect went 3-for-4 with three home runs on Sunday at the Double-A level. The 20-year-old now has seven homers in 22 games this season — his first full year in pro ball after being drafted second overall in 2019. Will Jr. has faced a significant challenge this season while jumping from Rookie ball up to Double-A with the lost pandemic season sandwiched in between. He has a massive ceiling but the strong game only bumped his average up to .233 and he has a 30% strikeout rate. Witt Jr. is likely headed for a collision course with the majors as early as 2022 and is unlikely to arrive during the 2021 season despite the massive hype around him.--Marc Hulet - RotoBaller
