Andy Reid Allows Patrick Mahomes To Be Himself
Patrick Mahomes said on the AP Pro Football Podcast with Rob Maaddi that head coach Andy Reid has been essential to what is quickly becoming a Hall of Fame career. "I think if I'd have went to some other places, I would've had to learn how to play the quarterback position a different way, and he just lets me play the quarterback position the way that I want to play it. I think that's what's made me such a different type of quarterback in this league," Mahomes said. The 27-year-old superstar has also won two MVP awards in his five seasons and made the Pro Bowl each year. As long as the Mahomes-Travis Kelce connection remains intact, he'll be the overall QB1 in fantasy.
