Andy Reid Allows Patrick Mahomes To Be Himself
1 year agoKansas City Chiefs two-time Super Bowl champion quarterback Patrick Mahomes said on the AP Pro Football Podcast with Rob Maaddi that head coach Andy Reid has been essential to what is quickly becoming a Hall of Fame career. "I think if I'd have went to some other places, I would've had to learn how to play the quarterback position a different way, and he just lets me play the quarterback position the way that I want to play it. I think that's what's made me such a different type of quarterback in this league," Mahomes said. The 27-year-old superstar has also won two MVP awards in his five seasons and made the Pro Bowl each year. As long as the Mahomes-Travis Kelce connection remains intact, he'll be the overall QB1 in fantasy.
