Aljamain Sterling Wins Back-To-Back Fights
Former bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling won his second fight in a row by beating Youssef Zalal via unanimous decision in the main event of UFC Vegas 116 on Saturday. This was a vintage Sterling performance, who overwhelmed Zalal, outgrappled and dominated him for most of the fight. In 25 minutes of action, Sterling landed six takedowns and 46 significant strikes. With the win, Sterling improved to 26-5 as a pro and is now 18-5 in the UFC.
