Alex Kirilloff Goes Deep In Rehab Game
2 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder Alex Kirilloff (wrist) went 1-for-3 with a solo home run, two runs scored, a walk and a strikeout in a minor-league rehab game on Thursday with Low-A Fort Myers. The 25-year-old was playing in right field in his second rehab game after he saw action at first base in his first game this week. There remains no timetable for his return, but the Twins are not expected to rush him back to the big leagues until he proves he's fully healthy. Kirilloff is only rostered in five percent of Yahoo leagues at this time, but he's worth stashing in deeper formats. The former first-round pick in 2016 has shown flashes of putting it all together, but injuries haven't allowed him to reach his true ceiling in the big leagues.
