A.J. Brown Expected To Work Outside
6 years agoTennessee Titans rookie wide receiver A.J. Brown is expected to play the majority of his snaps in 2019 on the outside, even though he showed he could play inside as well at Mississippi in college. Brown, who is 6-foot-1, 226 pounds, was taken with the 51st overall pick of the draft. Not only is he big and physical, but he ran a sub-4.5-second 40-yard dash at the combine and will play opposite of Corey Davis in his first season in the NFL. However, with Davis, Adam Humphries and tight end Delanie Walker ahead of him in the pecking order, Davis could very well struggle for consistent production in a run-first offense in his first season.
