Kyle Pitts Sr., TE, Falcons
Atlanta Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts Sr. has been a non-factor to start the 2026 season. In three games, Pitts has caught just two passes for 20 yards, averaging one fantasy point per game. Despite the Falcons' offensive explosion in Week 3 against the Green Bay Packers, Pitts caught only one pass for five yards, while backup tight end Austin Hooper found the end zone.
Through three games, Pitts has played just 53% of snaps and 63% of routes, with a 7.5% target share. Despite being drafted fourth overall in the 2021 NFL Draft, Pitts has not lived up to expectations and is on pace for his worst season to date. Right now, he doesn't have enough value to be rosterable, though a productive game against the New Orleans Saints in Week 4 could catapult him back to relevance.
Michael Penix Jr., QB, Falcons
Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Penix Jr. (knee) made his first start in over 10 months in his team's Thursday night win over the Packers, and while he had obvious rust to work through early, he ended the night with 256 yards and a touchdown. With the strange scheduling quirk of going from Thursday to Monday, the Falcons now have four extra days of rest and preparation ahead of a divisional clash with the Saints.
After finishing as the fantasy QB21 in his return to action, Penix is a viable streaming option in a Week 4 matchup with one of the week's highest projected scores, and he is readily available on most waiver wires after going largely undrafted in single-quarterback leagues.

Alvin Kamara, RB, Saints
New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara is in line for more work with Travis Etienne Jr. on injured reserve. Ian Rapoport reported that Kamara is expected to "carry the load" while Etienne is out, but this still looks like a backfield that will involve Kendre Miller.
Head coach Kellen Moore said Thursday that Kamara and Miller will handle the work and noted that the Saints do not expect one back to do everything. Kamara has had nine carries in each of his two games since returning from an MCL sprain, turning those 18 attempts into 51 yards. He has also caught six of seven targets for 12 yards.
Those numbers have not been exciting, but the opportunity is changing quickly now that Etienne will miss at least four games. Miller had six touches against Las Vegas last week and should remain part of the rotation. Kamara is RB27 in RotoBaller's Week 4 rankings ahead of Monday night's matchup with Atlanta, and the expected bump in touches puts him back in the flex mix.
Tyler Shough, QB, Saints
New Orleans Saints quarterback Tyler Shough showed flashes of elite fantasy upside after taking over as starter midway through his 2025 rookie season, and he has rewarded fantasy managers who bought in as a 2026 sleeper. Through three weeks, Shough ranks third in the league with 912 passing yards, while his eight passing touchdowns trail only Brock Purdy and Kirk Cousins, making him the fantasy QB3 to begin the year.
Operating Kellen Moore's up-tempo offense, no player has seen more dropbacks or attempted more passes than Shough, and his surrounding cast, currently led by Chris Olave and tight end Juwan Johnson, should only grow stronger with 2026 first-round pick Jordyn Tyson (hamstring) nearing a return from the hamstring injury that landed him on injured reserve to begin the season.
Shough is RotoBaller's QB8 ahead of a Monday night tilt with the Falcons, and he is a player who can be trusted as a long-term QB1.
