MLB DFS: DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy Baseball Picks (6/4/24) - Today's Top Lineups

Max Fried - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, Draft Sleepers, MLB Injury News

Free daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for today's slate on DraftKings, FanDuel. Use Euan's MLB DFS expert picks to build winning DFS lineups on June 4, 2024.

Happy Tuesday, RotoBallers! A 10-game slate welcomes us to the first Tuesday night in June. There are games earlier in the evening, but this article focuses on the games beginning at 7:10 p.m. EDT and later. It starts in New York, where the Yankees take on the Twins.

Speaking of the Yankees, they are starting to feel a little Thanos-y in 2024. They sit inside the top three for average, OBP, SLG, OPS, wOBA, and wRC+ versus right-handed pitching. It's an excellent night to fade Bailey Ober. On the weather side, it's forecasted that the wind will blow into Coors Field in Colorado. This could negate some of the natural Coors effect on the hitting side of the ball.

This article will provide my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 6/4/2024 and the slate locking at 7:10 p.m. EDT. The lineup picks will range from some elite players to mid-priced options and value plays. You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for other sports here. Monitoring injury news and today's MLB starting lineups is also essential.

DraftKings, FanDuel Pitchers - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Max Fried - LHP, ATL at Red Sox ($9.0K DraftKings; $9.9K FanDuel)

While the strikeout upside isn't always there for Max Fried, he's on an undeniable innings-eating run. Innings can be as good as strikeouts in DFS, so we can't ignore this kind of pitcher. In his last seven starts, Atlanta's left-handed hurler has thrown at least six innings six times, seven innings five times, eight innings three times, and nine innings twice. The 30-year-old is even coming through in the strikeout department with 15 strikeouts over the last two starts. That K-upside will be in play on Tuesday night versus a Red Sox squad that leads the league with a 28.4% strikeout rate to southpaws.

Spencer Arrighetti - RHP, HOU vs. Cardinals ($6.7K DK; $8.5K FD)

It wasn't the easiest start to an MLB career for Spencer Arrighetti. The right-handed pitcher was 0-4 through five starts with an 8.44 ERA and 2.02 WHIP. However, time heals all wounds, and Arrighetti has found his footing in the major leagues over time. In his last four starts, the 24-year-old is 3-1 with a 3.63 ERA, 1.30 WHIP, and a 27.7% strikeout rate, averaging 19.6 DK PPG. On the year, St. Louis strikes out at the sixth-highest rate (24.5%) to RHPs, which suits Arrighetti's game. He's increased his strikeouts in the last four games and has 15 Ks in his previous 11 innings.

Also Consider: Luis Gil vs. MIN, Jack Flaherty at TEX, Corbin Burnes at TOR, Patrick Sandoval vs. SD, Frankie Montas at COL

DraftKings, FanDuel Infielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Ty France - 1B, SEA at Mitch Spence ($3.2K DK; $3.0K FD)

In today's game, a first baseman with seven home runs through the first third of the season usually doesn't get it done, but Seattle is sticking with Ty France, and recently, he's rewarded their faith in him. Over the last two weeks, France has been 19th in wOBA among 184 qualified hitters, and he's added three home runs and 13 combined runs and RBI to the Mariners' offense. Seattle's hitting is beginning to hum, so grabbing a cheap batter from the top half of this lineup makes a ton of sense. It'll allow DFS managers to load up at other positions and bring in heavier hitters up and down their Tuesday lineups.

Connor Norby - 2B, BAL at Bowden Francis ($2.5K DK; $2.3K FD)

When a prospect gets the call, it's an exciting time in DFS land. Not only can you say you were among the first to believe in Connor Norby, but his rock-bottom price opens up so much for the rest of your team. The Orioles second baseman went 0-for-3 in his debut and hit eighth, but you've got to keep the faith for Tuesday night. In 51 games at Triple-A, Norby slashed .286/.374/.510 with 42 runs, 36 RBI, nine home runs, and seven steals.

Alex Bregman - 3B, HOU vs. Miles Mikolas ($4.1K DK; $3.2K FD)

It's taken a while for Alex Bregman to wake up in 2024, but the last 10 games have made it worth the wait. Since May 24, the Astros third baseman owns a 1.016 OPS with five runs, nine RBI, six extra-base hits (four home runs), and a steal. Compare that to his season-long numbers (.682 OPS), and there's hope for a midseason revival for the former first-round pick. Bregman is still anchored to the top half of Houston's lineup despite his early-season struggles, and this offense is still dangerous enough to want several pieces of it whenever DFS managers can afford it.

Also consider: Christian Walker, Davis Schneider, Josh Smith, Corey Seager, Anthony Volpe

DraftKings, FanDuel Outfielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Juan Soto - OF, NYY vs. Bailey Ober ($6.3K DK; $4.6K FD)

It's a take-your-pick between Juan Soto and Aaron Judge as the premier bat in your lineup. Both Yankees are slugging the baseball all over the park, and a home game in Yankee Stadium only increases the chances of a massive output. In Soto's last two games, he's 5-for-8 with four runs, four RBI, a triple, and two home runs. His season-long 1.031 OPS shows us that those performances come pretty often for the newest member in pinstripes. The 25-year-old gets the nod over Judge because he's $100 cheaper on both sites, but you can't go wrong with either Yankee.

Matt Vierling - OF/3B, DET at Dane Dunning ($4.2K DK; $3.1K FD)

Over the years, Matt Vierling has tended to go on tears like his current one and then fade off. So before jumping off the train, we should look under the hood because it's pretty interesting. In 2024, the Tigers' third baseman is setting career highs in barrel rate, launch angle, average exit velocity, xSLG, and xwOBA. To make a long story short, he's tearing the cover off the ball. Vierling is well on his way to smashing his career high in home runs (10) with seven on the year, and his 16.9 FD PPG over the last 10 is the third-highest mark among outfielders on Tuesday's slate.

Miguel Andujar - OF/1B, OAK vs. George Kirby ($3.6K DK; $2.8K FD)

After being on the IL for the first two months of the season, Miguel Andujar is doing his best to make up for lost time. In eight games this year, the 29-year-old sports a 1.019 OPS with six runs, 12 RBI, two doubles, two home runs, and a steal, averaging 14.46 FD PPG. The Oakland outfielder is up to second in the lineup and has the green light to do whatever he wants at the plate. A date with George Kirby will be challenging, but it's tough to pass on Andujar with the type of heater he's been on.

Also consider: Aaron Judge, Yordan Alvarez, Kerry Carpenter, Ian Happ, Daulton Varsho
