However, as Week 1 of the regular season approached, Wilson was not healthy enough to start, leaving Fields as the starter. Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin has yet to name a long-term starter but confirmed that Fields will be under center for Week 4 against the Indianapolis Colts.
Fields has led the Steelers to a strong 3-0 start, playing solid football. While his numbers didn’t stand out in Weeks 1 and 2, it seemed the Steelers were running a conservative offense, relying on their defense to secure wins.
In Week 3, they finally opened up the playbook, and Fields responded by throwing for 245 yards and a passing touchdown, along with rushing for another score. He totaled 18.4 fantasy points in standard-scoring leagues.

What sets Fields apart in fantasy football is his rushing ability. He is one of the most dynamic players with the ball in his hands, and he has already rushed for 90 yards and a touchdown this season.
Looking ahead to Week 4, Fields has a favorable matchup against the Colts, who rank 19th in fantasy points allowed to opposing quarterbacks. Malik Willis rushed for 41 yards against them in Week 2, and Fields has the potential to surpass that. Fields is a must-start in 12+ team leagues for Week 4 with his matchup and rushing upside.
