Jaylen Warren's fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 11 (2023). Our advice on whether you should start or sit Jaylen Warren for fantasy lineups.
BALLER MOVE: Start in 12+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: RB3
ANALYSIS: Pittsburgh Steelers running back Jaylen Warren has seen a major increase in production over the past two games. In Week 9 against the Titans, he had a then-season-high 11 carries for 88 yards.
He followed that up with a bigger Week 10 showing against the Packers with 15 carries for 101 yards and a touchdown. When this season began, the Steelers backfield belonged to Najee Harris. Now, it's much more of a split situation.
Let's look at the Week 10 split. Warren had 15 carries and a touchdown, while Harris had 16 carries and a touchdown. Warren played 33 snaps, which was 51% of the team's offensive plays. Harris played 33 snaps as well, the same rate as Warren.
On one hand, the increased production for Warren is an encouraging sign for fantasy managers. On the other hand, the fact that he's got his playing time capped around 50% of snaps because of Harris lowers his upside.
For now, fantasy managers should view Jaylen Warren as a high-end RB2 option for fantasy. He's shown he can be productive with the touches he gets, but there's also a limit to how many opportunities he can have with Harris on the field.
