BALLER MOVE: Start in 14+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR4
ANALYSIS: Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Jakobi Meyers had a great start to the season, but the past three weeks have been a real struggle for the former New England Patriots wideout.
After catching five or more passes in five of his first six contests, Meyers has two or fewer receptions in three straight games. Last week against the Jets, he was targeted just twice, catching both passes for 21 yards.
The Raiders passing attack just isn't the same with Aidan O'Connell under center. Last week, 18 of O'Connell's 27 attempts went to either Davante Adams or Michael Mayer as the team has just really narrowed the focus of who gets the football.
For fantasy managers with Jakobi Meyers on their roster, this just isn't great news. You still probably need to start him in a 14-team league, but if Meyers doesn't manage to bounce back against the Dolphins this week, it'll be hard to view him as a top-50 wide receiver play going forward.
On the plus side, we have seen Meyers be a very productive player at times this season. If O'Connell can just start looking his way a little more often, he could bounce back into the WR3 tier. Risky play this week, but his talent keeps him as a fantasy option in some formats.
