Jordan Love Latest Injury Update

Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love (knee) returned to practice on Wednesday for the first time since suffering a knee injury during the Week 1 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.

Love sprained his MCL in that Friday night game, but his participation in practice suggests he may be available for the Week 3 matchup against the Tennessee Titans. This is surprising but exciting news as his recovery time has been quicker than on pace.

Fantasy managers should keep an eye on his practice status as the week progresses. It would still be surprising if Love were to suit up for Week 3, but seeing him practice in limited condition is very reassuring.

Jordan Love Fantasy Football Outlook

If Jordan Love were to play in Week 3, it's worth noting that the Titans' defense has been strong against the pass, allowing under 270 yards through the first two weeks and holding offenses to just three offensive touchdowns.

If Love does suit up, he should be considered a QB2 in fantasy, as his mobility might be limited. Should Love be unable to play, Malik Willis would get the start against his former team on Sunday. In Week 2, Willis had 114 passing yards for one touchdown while adding 41 rushing yards in the win.

Once Love returns to full health, fantasy managers should expect him to remain a starting quarterback option for fantasy lineups and could be viewed as a low-end QB1.
