How to Play Fantasy Premier League Guide
Whether it's your first, second, or 20th season playing Fantasy Premier League, don't miss our 'How to Play Fantasy Premier League' Guide for the 2025-26 season. It covers squad building, transfers, and all the new strategies coming to this great game for the upcoming campaign.
Arsenal vs Nottingham Forest
The Gunners are in the top five for expected goals (4.70) & touches in the opposition box (83), while being the second best in terms of expected goals conceded (2.20). Forest haven’t kept a clean sheet in their last 12 Premier League games, but now have a new manager in Ange Postecoglou, who could turn their future around.
FPL Picks: David Raya and Gabriel
With Ange Postecoglou set to take over at Forest, we went back to look at some DEFCON data from his Spurs spell
His high line + pressing style generally created more DEFCON chances for opponents than for his own players 👇 pic.twitter.com/7sacncLmkV

Bournemouth vs Brighton
Recent history is in favour of Brighton for this fixture, with the Seagulls winning five of their last six encounters against Bournemouth. However, we wouldn't discount the Cherries' attack against shaky Brighton, as they haven’t kept a clean sheet in five games.
FPL Picks: Antoine Semenyo and Evanilson
Antoine Semenyo has risen in price for the fourth time already this season 😲

Crystal Palace vs Sunderland
Crystal Palace are unbeaten this season. However, Sunderland have been surprisingly resilient on their return to the PL as well. We expect this to be the money game of the week and can see the Eagles' defenders and attackers doing well.
FPL Picks: Maxence Lacroix and Jean-Phillipe Mateta
Everton vs Aston Villa
Riding high on back-to-back wins, Everton will look to make it three in a row while Villa will look to avoid a hat-trick of losses. Confidence is on Everton’s side, but Villa is too good a team to lose three games on the bounce.
FPL Picks: Ollie Watkins
Fulham vs Leeds
Fulham are without a win this season, while Leeds have had a taste of all the results so far. We’re expecting goals in this game and will start all our attackers.
FPL Picks: Josh King
Newcastle vs Wolves
Two teams who are yet to win this season face off in Gameweek 4, and we trust Newcastle to make the most of this chance. It could be the perfect launchpad for their attackers and an easy affair for the defence.
FPL Picks: Fabian Schar and Anthony Elanga
West Ham vs Spurs
After getting their season back on track vs Forest, West Ham face a resurgent Spurs, who themselves will be attempting to brush off their defeat in Game week 3. We expect a high number of goals from both teams.
FPL Picks: Richarlison and Mohammed Kudus
Brentford vs Chelsea
This fixture has ended in a draw three times in a row when Chelsea has visited Brentford. However, we do not expect this trend to continue. Chelsea is much stronger, with Brentford still finding its feet after the summer transfer window departures.
FPL Picks: Joao Pedro and Marc Cucurella

Burnley vs Liverpool
Liverpool will look to continue their winning run against Burnley, who’ve only scored once against Liverpool in their last six meetings. We expect them to put up a fight, but Liverpool’s attacking quality should be enough to overpower that.
FPL Picks: Mohamed Salah and Cody Gakpo
Manchester City vs Manchester United
This fixture comes at a tricky time for both teams, who haven’t enjoyed the greatest of starts to their seasons. The outcome of the last 6 PL games is slightly in City’s favour, with three wins to two wins by United. Historically, away teams have done well in this fixture. We do not expect either team to keep a clean sheet.
FPL Picks: Erling Haaland and Bruno Fernandes
