Fantasy Premier League - EPL Team Reveals for Gameweek 7 (2025)

bruno fernandes-fantasy premier league-english premier league-fpl team reveals-manchester united

Our Fantasy Premier League (FPL) analysts reveal their teams for Gameweek 7 of the English Premier League fantasy game. Expert picks on Captains, Strategy, Chips, and Transfers to make ahead of the upcoming FPL gameweek.

Welcome to our Fantasy Premier League Team Reveals for Gameweek 7, RotoBallers! Plenty of FPL managers played chips in Gameweek 6 with plenty of Wildcards, Triple Captains, and even some Free Hits flying around. Gameweek 7 will be interesting to see how the dust from those moves has settled.

FPL Gameweek 7 features some high-profile clashes, with Liverpool traveling to Chelsea. Meanwhile, West Ham heads to Arsenal hoping to cause an upset in London under new manager Nuno Espirito Santo, after Graham Potter was let go over the weekend.

The Gameweek 7 deadline for the 2025-26 Fantasy Premier League season is Friday, October 3, at 1:30 p.m. EDT, when Bournemouth hosts Fulham. Check out the rest of our excellent soccer coverage as the squad gets you all set for every EPL and UCL slate with our EPL DFS lineup picks and betting picks.

Whether it's your first, second, or 20th season playing Fantasy Premier League, don't miss our How To Play Fantasy Premier League Guide for the 2025-26 season. It covers squad building, transfers, and all the new strategies coming to this great game for the upcoming campaign.

Wale's FPL Team Reveal for Gameweek 7

Captain: Erling Haaland at Brentford

Vice Captain: Mohamed Salah at Chelsea

Transfers: Cody Gakpo > Anthony Gordon OR Eberechi Eze

After finishing with 66 points, I can finally see some green arrows back in my mini-leagues. For Gameweek 7, I have a few concerns to handle.

Liverpool’s Cody Gakpo (£7.6m) has not gotten a return since Gameweek 2 and was recently dropped in Gameweek 6 against Crystal Palace. I don’t want to overthink the tactical change from Arne Slot, but this is a sign that I should consider shipping out the Dutch international.

This leaves me with two alternatives, Newcastle’s Anthony Gordon (£7.4m) or Arsenal’s Eberechi Eze (£7.5m), since I can’t afford Bournemouth’s Antoine Semenyo (£7.8m). I’m more inclined to bring in Eze due to his recent performance in Gameweek 6, but I will make my final decision after the Champions League games this midweek.

Jamie's FPL Team Reveal for Gameweek 7

Captain: Arsenal player vs. West Ham

Vice Captain: Erling Haaland at Brentford

Transfers: Hugo Ekitike, Florian Wirtz, Daichi Kamada > Bukayo Saka, Ismaila Sarr, ???

I managed to get through last week relatively unscathed after holding off from making the transfers I wanted to. I now have three transfers this week which I will be using after the European Competitions, just in case anyone gets injured, and I need to alter my plans.

This week, Hugo Ekitike (£8.7m) and Florian Wirtz (£8.2m) will be ousted. I still want Bukayo Saka (£9.8m) but already have Eberechi Eze (£7.5m) and Viktor Gyökeres (£9.0m). Although Arsenal has some fantasy-friendly fixtures coming up, tripling up on their attack seems like a good idea.

I’m looking at bringing in Ismaïla Sarr (£6.4m), but will have to replace Daichi Kamada (£5.0m) to avoid having two Palace midfielders. The tinkering with my defense may have to wait a couple of weeks.

Assuming I do bring in Saka, he will likely get the captain’s armband this week. Otherwise, it’ll be on Gyökeres or Eze. New manager or not, I don’t want to miss the opportunity to captain an attacking player against that West Ham defense.

Euan's FPL Team Reveal for Gameweek 7

Captain: Erling Haaland at Brentford

Vice Captain: Victor Gyokeres vs. West Ham

Transfers: Mohamed Salah, Jean-Philippe Mateta > Antoine Semenyo, Erling Haaland

I activated my Free Hit chip in Gameweek 6, and it went quite well. While 58 points doesn't sound like a lot in isolation, it looks a lot better than the 30 points my non-Free Hit team would've accumulated.

As a Liverpool fan, it pains me to say this, but it's time for Mohamed Salah and Florian Wirtz to leave the squad. Unfortunately, neither of them is getting it done, and I need to move on. Unfortunately, I only have two Free Transfers to navigate this problem.

An easy double move is Mohamed Salah and Jean-Philippe Mateta to Antoine Semenyo and Erling Haaland. This leaves me with just enough money in the bank to upgrade Marc Guiu to Lyle Foster in Gameweek 8 and finally get rid of the Bench Boost chip. I'll either give the armband to Erling Haaland versus Brentford or Victor Gyokeres against West Ham.
