ANALYSIS: Ezequiel Tovar entered the season as the number-one prospect in the Colorado organization and his rookie season has been a wild ride. Tovar started the year ice cold but picked things up in a major way in June. He slumped again in July, before a hot August. Check out the monthly splits:

Through all the ups and downs, however, Tovar has put up a productive season. Especially considering he was just 21 years old back on Opening Day. Tovar has all the tools to be an above-average hitter, and he gets to play half of his games in the most hitter-friendly environment in baseball. He should be rostered in most fantasy leagues.
