DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Lineup Picks (1/30/17): NBA DFS Advice

We have a nice mid sized five game slate to kick off the week. Some really strong options at every position and some match ups you want to exploit. Also look at some game slacks, to try and soak up a lot of the offense from some teams. Sit back, read up, and let's win some contests.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 1/30/17. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays on DraftKings. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to reach out to me on Twitter @DFS_Tom.

DraftKings DFS Guards

Goran Dragic - PG, vs BKN ($7,600)

Dragic is quietly having a great season, and is often overlooked because he isn't a true top tier point guard. He plays for a bad team and doesn't have the flashy plays, but he is still a very strong point guard. Tonight he is up against the Nets, who are giving up a league worst 53 DraftKings points per game. Basically any time the Nets are playing, you want to have some players going against them. This is a good spot for a bit of a game stack if you are looking for that. Dragic has scored 44 points or more in two of his last three games, great option for cash rosters.

Zach Lavine - SG, vs ORL ($6,700)

Lavine was on a bit of a slump at the beginning and middle part of this month, but over his last two games, he has scored 38 and 37 points. It seems he has got his game back and he is in a good spot to continue that trend tonight vs the Magic. Orlando is giving up 40 points per game to shooting guards, so this falls right in line with what we are expecting from Lavine tonight. Love him for cash games, since he is coming off of a slump, he doesn't have true upside you need for a GPP.

Mike Conley - PG, @ PHO ($7,000)

Conley is always a nice mid tier point guard to target for your lineups. He has put up two consecutive games of 36 points or more, and is up against the Suns who give up 47 points per game to point guards. Suns generally play faster paced games, and those games tend to have higher over/unders, which is somewhat opposite of what Memphis likes to play. But this is still a good match up for Conley to hit his season average and get you the points you need for him to hit value.

 

DraftKings DFS Forwards

LeBron James - SF, @ DAL ($10,000)

One thing is clear in the NBA right now, LeBron isn't happy with how the Cavs are playing, and he is on a one man war path to try and fix that. He has scored 60 DraftKings points or more in three of his last five games. Huge, huge numbers from him, and I'm expecting similar results tonight. Now, the match up vs Dallas isn't the best, since Dallas is only giving up 37 points per game to small forwards. But this is LeBron, and when he wants to get it done, there is basically no one on the planet that can stop him. Love him for GPP's tonight.

James Johnson - PF vs BKN ($5,800)

Johnson had a hot start to the month, then he cooled off, and now he seems to be back. Two straight games of 33 points or more, and his match up tonight couldn't be better. He is up against the Nets who are giving up 48 points per game to power forwards. Like I said earlier, this is a spot to do a game stack if you are looking for that. He provides some salary relief and gives you some exposure to a team playing against a bad defense. He could be used for either cash or GPP, since the match up he has is so great.

Karl-Anthony Towns - PF, vs ORL ($10,800)

Towns has been on fire lately and he isn't getting enough credit for it. Over his lat five games, he has scored 58 or more DrafKings points four times. Just crazy numbers lately, which is due in large part to his usage rate being 29%. Love him tonight for all types of contests, and you could pair him with Lavine to grab over 50% of their offensive usage. He is expensive, but with the numbers he has been putting up lately, he should hit value for you.

 

DraftKings DFS Centers

Andre Drummond - C, @ BOS ($7,700)

Drummond is an absolute doulbe-double machine as we all know. He has put up seven double-doubles in his last ten games, and again this seems like a player who doesn't get enough national attention. His price is in the right spot, not too high, but you could easily get a 50+ point game out of him. He is up against the Celtics who are giving up 51 points per game to centers. His match up combined with his outstanding consistency, makes him an auto lock for me tonight.

Also consider: Marc Gasol - C, @ PHO ($7,800)
