DraftKings Daily Fantasy Baseball Lineup Picks (6/25/16): MLB DFS Advice

There's baseball action pretty much all day today, giving you plenty of contests to participate in on DraftKings

Whether you plan on using just a group of games or the full slate, you'll have plenty of options to fill out your lineup. With expensive pitching option Madison Bumgarner on the mound, you'll have to find some hidden value in order to complete your roster.

Editor's Note: RotoBaller has the best Premium MLB Subscription for only $1.99 per week. We have all the tools to help win your seasonal and daily leagues: Hitter & Pitcher Streamers, Matchup Ratings for every player, Sleeper Surgers for AVG, HR, Ks, PLUS Daily DFS Cheat Sheets, Lineup Picks, Expert Lineups, Stacks and Avoids.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball MLB lineup picks for DraftKings on 6/25/16. The DFS lineup picks will range from high-priced to low-priced options and identify options who will out-perform their expectations, including sleepers and value plays on DraftKings.

DFS Lineup Stacks to Target on DraftKings

Arizona Diamondbacks vs. Jorge De La Rosa (LHP)

Although he's won three straight games coming in, De La Rosa still makes for a great option to stack against. The Diamondbacks have some very solid right-handed hitters who should be ready to take their cuts in Coors Field. De La Rosa has allowed seven of his home runs at Coors, and has an ERA of 5.06 there. Righties have hit .288 overall with eight home runs against. The obvious name that jumps out to use today is Paul Goldschmidt. Others who should be in play today are Wellington Castillo, Jean Segura, and Yasmany Tomas.

San Francisco Giants vs. Jeremy Hellickson (RHP)

When looking for lineup stacks, there are not a bunch of great options that stand out today. While the Giants don't have the most potent lineup in the league, they do get a very nice matchup today against Jeremy Hellickson. The right-hander has lost four straight starts coming into today, having allowed at least three earned runs in each of those losses. He has struggled on the road (4.46 ERA), and left-handed hitters have hit .302 overall against him this season. That all bodes well for San Francisco -- especially the likes of Brandon Belt, Brandon Crawford, Joe Panik, and Denard Span.

DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider on DraftKings

Madison Bumgarner, SF vs. PHI - $14,000

The San Francisco ace took a tough loss his last time out despite allowing just one earned run. Bumgarner has been dealing this year, putting up an ERA of 1.85 and a record 8-3 with 115 strikeouts. He's easily one of the best fantasy pitchers available, hence the high price tag. A very favorable home matchup against the Phillies awaits him today. Current Philadelphia hitters have a .211 lifetime average against him. The matchup is already good, but throw in the fact that he's 4-1 at home with an ERA of 1.79, and this one is too good to pass up.

Kevin Gausman, BAL vs. TB - $6,200

This one comes with a disclaimer: it's only a deep sleeper pick that should be considered for tournaments. Gausman's numbers are nothing short of terrible. He's 0-5 with a 4.37 ERA for the season. So why should you consider him today? Easy. He's a cheap option that will help you afford some of the stars. Also, Gausman gets a favorable matchup with the Rays.  Current Tampa hitters hold a .250 lifetime average against him. It's unlikely that he goes winless all year, and Baltimore has a great offense. Take a chance on the right-hander today.

DFS Infielders to Consider on DraftKings

Catcher (C)

Wellington Castillo, ARI at COL - $4,500

Castillo got the night off Friday and should be back in the lineup today with a lefty on the mound. He's had some success against Jose De La Rosa in the past, hitting .308 with a double lifetime against him. Castillo has hammered lefties this season with an average of .338 and six homers. He's priced high today, but the matchup at Coors Field is a great one for the catcher. If you need a cheaper option, check out Stephen Vogt.

First Base (1B)

Adam Lind, SEA vs. STL - $3,700

If you're looking for some value at first base today Seattle's Adam Lind makes for a great option. He's easily overlooked thanks to his low average. However, he still has power and is averaging nearly six fantasy points a game on DraftKings. He has limited at-bats against Mike Leake, today's opposing starter, but has three hits, including a home run. Lind isn't a sure thing today, but he could prove to be an excellent sleeper option for your daily lineup.

Second Base (2B)

Brandon Phillips, CIN vs. SD - $3,100

Phillips isn't the fantasy stud he was a few years back, but he's been very serviceable at times this season for daily fantasy lineups. The best thing about him is the fact that he'll save you a ton of cap space while still providing over six fantasy points a game. Phillips has a .275 average against lefties and is 1-for-3 in his lifetime against Drew Pomeranz.

Shortstop (SS)

Brandon Crawford, SF vs. PHI - $3,700

As mentioned above, the Giants, particularly the lefties, make a good option for a lineup stack. Even if you're not stacking, don't overlook Brandon Crawford at shortstop. First, he's 4-for-7 lifetime against Jeremy Hellickson. Second, all of his home runs this season have been off of right-handers. He's been good against righties and has been good in the month of June.

Third Base (3B)

Jurickson Profar,  TEX vs. BOS - $3,400

Profar has done enough lately to stay in the lineup and he's now a great target for daily fantasy baseball. Today he'll face a right-hander in Steven Wright, and that's good news considering he's hitting over .400 against righties. He extended his hit streak Friday night and now has a hit in seven games in a row.

DFS Outfielders to Consider on DraftKings

Brett Gardner, NYY vs. MIN - $4,100

Gardner went hitless Friday night, but he's still having a fantastic June, hitting .364 for the month and .429 over the last week. He's hitting .280 with five home runs versus righties this season, and that's exactly what he'll get today in a matchup with Ervin Santana. Adding to his value is the fact that he's fared well against Santana in the past with a .280 lifetime average.

Paulo Orlando, KC vs. HOU - $3,500

If you take an expensive pitcher today, along with a few big bats, then you'll need to find a place to save some cap space. Kansas City's Paulo Orlando won't cost you much, but he's been producing at a great clip. With an overall average of .358, Orlando has found some big success. He's been hot in June, hitting .323 and now has an eight-game hit streak going into today.

Jose Ramirez, CLE at DET - $3,800

Cleveland's Jose Ramirez is a valuable asset in DFS lineups for the simple fact that he is eligible for both third base and the outfield. Beyond his versatility, Ramirez has put up very solid numbers so far. He's struggled a bit in June with an average of just .268, but he's hitting .333 over the last week.
