DraftKings Daily Fantasy Baseball Lineup Picks (6/12/16): MLB DFS Advice

Barry Leonard Jr. highlights the top daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for 6/12/16. These are the top value and sleeper plays for your DraftKings MLB DFS lineups.

It's another full Sunday with DraftKings contests going on all day. The action culminates with a great primetime rivalry matchup between the Giants and the Dodgers.

With some expensive pitchers on the board today, finding value at the other positions will be at a premium.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball MLB lineup picks for DraftKings on 6/12/16. The DFS lineup picks will range from high-priced to low-priced options and identify options who will out-perform their expectations, including sleepers and value plays on DraftKings.

DFS Lineup Stacks to Target on DraftKings

Cincinnati Reds vs. Kendall Graveman (RHP)

The Reds are in a perfect spot for a lineup stack today, as opposing pitcher Kendall Graveman has had his fair share of struggles this season. The Oakland right-hander has an ERA of 5.49 and has particularly struggled against lefties. Jay Bruce and Joey Votto jump out as obvious players to use in a stack today. Adam Duvall, though a righty, has pounded right-handed pitching this season when it comes to the long ball.

Cleveland Indians vs. David Huff (LHP)

Huff will be making just his second start of the season after surrendering eight hits and five earned runs in just 3.2 innings of work against the Yankees on June 7. The right-handed batters in the Cleveland lineup should be licking their chops for this one, as New York righties hit .548 with two homers against him. Mike Napoli, Francisco Lindor, Rajai Davis, and Jose Ramirez are all in play for the Cleveland stack today.

DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider on DraftKings

Jon Lester, CHC at ATL - $13,400

Lester is the most expensive pitcher on the board today, so if you plan on using him you'll have to find good value at some of the other positions. Although it will cost you, the production is undeniable. Lester enters today with a 7-3 record and an ERA of just 2.06. He gets a fantastic matchup with Atlanta today, a team he took a no-decision against on April 29 while pitching seven strong innings in which he allowed one run and struck out seven.

Michael Fulmer, DET at NYY - $9,000

Fulmer is another expensive pitcher today, but on a day that doesn't feature the best matchups, the Detroit hurler is one to target. Although the Yankees have heated up lately, Fulmer enters the game with four straight wins and an overall record of 6-1 on the season. With an ERA of 2.83, it makes sense to deploy Fulmer on a day in which finding the right pitcher will be tough.

DFS Infielders to Consider on DraftKings

Catcher (C)

Wilson Ramos, WAS vs. PHI - $4,700

You'll need to save cap space today if you take the big money pitchers, but don't skimp at catcher. Ramos is hitting .339 for the season and brings a .1000 average with a home run and four RBI in his lifetime against today's starter Adam Morgan. Ramos is the leader among regular catchers in fantasy points per game, so don't pass on him.

First Base (1B)

Ryan Rua, TEX at SEA - $3,300

Rua has performed very well both against the Mariners and left-handed pitchers this season. He's hitting over .400 against Seattle and .405 against all lefties. He's not a huge threat to go yard, but he's hitting near .300 for the season and has shown a knack for getting on base. His solid fantasy production and low price tag make him a great option today. Adding to his value is the fact that he can slot into your lineup at either first base or outfield.

Second Base (2B)

Jonathan Schoop, BAL at TOR - $2,900

Nobody who plays daily fantasy baseball will complain about a second baseman who produces nearly seven fantasy points a game with a price tag under $3,000. That's exactly what Schoop is. He followed up his home run on Friday with a double yesterday and continues to produce at a good clip. Schoop has been a big part of the reason that Baltimore's bottom part of the order has been able to put up some big numbers.

Shortstop (SS)

Aledmys Diaz, STL at PIT - $3,800

Diaz has solidified his No. 2 spot in a very good St. Louis lineup. He's got an impressive OPS of near .900 and is averaging over eight fantasy points a game on DraftKings. Hitting over .300 for the season, Diaz is a safe bet to get himself on base one or twice a game. He has one hit in two at-bats against today's starter Jonathon Niese and needs to be considered a solid shortstop option in daily formats.

Third Base (3B)

Cody Asche, PHI at WAS - $2,800

Again, you'll need to find some hidden value today if you choose to go with the expensive pitchers. Cody Asche, who can play as an outfielder or third baseman, is available for under $3,000 today while carrying a four-game hit streak into the matchup with Washington. He's usually overlooked and should have a very low ownership number in tournaments, something that will only add to his value. You won't get a huge number from Asche, but he's reached at least four fantasy points in three of his last four games.

DFS Outfielders to Consider on DraftKings

Ben Revere, WAS vs.PHI - $3,500

With two hits, including a double, and an RBI Saturday, Revere now has at least 10 fantasy points in five straight games. After an injury and a slow start to the year, Revere is now hitting 323 in June. He's red hot right now and has one hit in two at-bats against today's starter Adam Morgan. His .205 average will scare some fantasy players away, but don't miss out while he's on fire.

Carlos Gomez, HOU at TB - $3,500

Gomez is a definite risky play and one that likely won't be made by many due to the fact that he has just four hits in his last six games. However, three of those hits have been long balls, and let's face it - if you get a home run from a player with a $3,500 price tag, you'll be ahead of the game. Again, he's certainly a risk, but Gomez has also found a home run groove lately.

Charlie Blackmon, COL vs. SD - $5,000

If you have enough cap space left over for the outfield, then be sure to pick up Colorado's Charlie Blackmon. All you really need to know is that he's playing at Coors Field today. He went yard yesterday and is hitting .296 with seven homers and 30 RBI this season. Although he's got a lefty versus lefty matchup today, he's hit .298 and hast two home runs against southpaws this season. Blackmon is a safe bet for some good fantasy production today.
