Brad's college football DFS rankings for Week 8 on 10/18/25. His daily fantasy college football rankings for QBs, RBs, and WRs and the DFS slates on DraftKings and FanDuel.
Despite a bunch of big-name programs on the slate, a lack of high-powered offenses, some injuries, and some stingy defenses make this week a tough one in DFS college football. Although injuries are key every week, some big-name running backs are down this week, so be sure to keep an eye out for any late injury news or depth chart updates.
As always, we look to high game totals when attacking DFS lineups. This week, Baylor vs. TCU stands out with a monster total of 66.5, while a sneaky game in Durham sees the Blue Devils and Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets with the only other total over 60 on this slate.

CFB DFS Quarterback Rankings
QB | Cash Rankings Per $ | QB | GPP Rankings Per $
1 | Trinidad Chambliss | 1 | Trinidad Chambliss
2 | Sawyer Robertson | 2 | Saywer Robertson
3 | Josh Hoover | 3 | Diego Pavia
4 | Haynes King | 4 | Haynes King
5 | Marcel Reed | 5 | Demond Williams Jr.
6 | Gunner Stockton | 6 | Josh Hoover
7 | Diego Pavia | 7 | Marcel Reed
8 | Darian Mensah | 8 | Bryce Underwood
9 | Noah Fifita | 9 | Julian Sayin
10 | Julian Sayin | 10 | John Mateer |
This may be the first week this year without true cash game depth at the quarterback position. Trinidad Chambliss has been the model of consistency since getting the starting nod for Ole Miss. Although we do not love the Georgia matchup, the price is simply too cheap. Sawyer Robertson, Josh Hoover, and Haynes King are the other three top-end cash game plays, as all have a substantially higher floor than the rest of the field.
In GPPs, much remains the same, but Diego Pavia and Demond Williams Jr. sneak into the top five. Both players possess massive upside with their legs, as both have had 9+ rushing attempts in each of the last three games. Down the board, it will be interesting to see John Mateer's usage in DFS. He was the Heisman front-runner until a broken hand, and upon his return last week, threw three interceptions. Massive upside, but he also does not seem fully healthy yet.

CFB DFS Running Back Rankings
RB | Cash Rankings Per $ | RB | GPP Rankings Per $
1 | Rueben Owens II | 1 | Rueben Owens II
2 | Nate Sheppard | 2 | Cameron Dickey
3 | Cameron Dickey | 3 | Jordan Marshall
4 | Bryson Washington | 4 | Nate Sheppard
5 | Adam Randall | 5 | Adam Randall
6 | Kewan Lacy | 6 | Raleek Brown
7 | Mike Washington Jr. | 7 | Bryson Washington
8 | Jordan Marshall | 8 | Jonah Coleman
9 | Jonah Coleman | 9 | Kewan Lacy
10 | Dean Connors | 10 | Bo Jackson |
Much like at quarterback, there is not a ton to love in the running back room this week. Rueben Owens II stands out as the easy top play with the injury to Texas A&M star running back Le'Veon Moss. As noted above, the Duke and Georgia Tech game has a sneaky high total, and Nate Sheppard has taken the Duke backfield completely over.
For GPPs, this may be a week to lean safer as there are no true home run threats on the board. Jonah Coleman is perhaps the top running back in the country, but he has a difficult matchup and has struggled recently. Bo Jackson at Ohio State is also interesting. In a game that the Buckeyes are favored by nearly four touchdowns, he could be in for some extra carries.

CFB DFS Wide Receiver Rankings
WR | Cash Rankings Per $ | WR | GPP Rankings Per $
1 | Jordyn Tyson | 1 | Eric McAlister
2 | Jeremiah Smith | 2 | Jordyn Tyson
3 | Eric McAlister | 3 | Bryant Wesco Jr.
4 | Cooper Barkate | 4 | Jeremiah Smith
5 | Bryant Wesco Jr. | 5 | Carnell Tate
6 | Amare Thomas | 6 | Josh Cameron
7 | Michael Trigg | 7 | Amare Thomas
8 | Denzel Boston | 8 | Trey'Dez Green
9 | Que'Sean Brown | 9 | Kris Hutson
10 | Dae'Quan Wright | 10 | Dillon Bell |
If you could not tell yet, the group I am most excited about this week is the wide receiver room. There are some elite options and sneaky plays in all formats. Up top, it is hard to argue for any one of Eric McAlister, Jordyn Tyson, or Jeremiah Smith over the other. All three are true elite NFL receivers in the future and can be played with confidence in any lineup. If you want cheaper options, some tight ends, such as Michael Trigg and Dae'Quan Wright, should have solid games.
In tournaments, look toward the high total games and players such as Josh Cameron or McAlister, as they could be a part of a big shootout. Down the board, players such as Trey'Dez Green or Dillon Bell do not see the consistent touches as the top players, but are also key figures near the end zone. A few touchdowns would not be impossible for those players.
