Blake Corum, Devin Neal, Chris Rodriguez Jr.: Start ‘Em, Sit ‘Em Picks for Fantasy Football Week 15

Chris Rodriguez Jr. - Fantasy Football Rankings, Running Back Sleepers, RB Handcuffs

Should I start Blake Corum, Devin Neal, Chris Rodriguez Jr. for Week 15? Fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks and recommendations for the 2025 NFL season.

For most, Week 15 is the opening week of the fantasy football playoffs. It is time to pull out the stops in a quest for a fantasy football championship.

That could mean leaning on players that may not have traditionally been in your lineup, especially if you find yourself as the underdog in your playoff matchup. There are several running backs getting expanded roles to close out the 2025 season, either due to injury or because teams want to evaluate young players. This can be an edge for proactive fantasy managers.

Three players who fit that billing are Blake Corum, Devin Neal, and Chris Rodriguez Jr. Can any of them be trusted in your fantasy lineup in Week 15? Read below to find out.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Should I Start Blake Corum for Fantasy Football?

It was only a matter of time before Corum had a big day in fantasy, given how his role has solidified in the Los Angeles Rams’ backfield. Corum had hit a 30% or higher snap share in six of his last seven games. Since Week 7, he has averaged 10.3 attempts and 56.3 rushing yards per game. The only thing holding him back was finding the end zone.

That ended in Week 14.

Corum racked up 12 carries for 128 yards and two touchdowns against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 14, finishing as the RB3 in PPR points (26.1). It was the second straight game (and third time this season) that Corum scored double-digit fantasy points.

Even after a stellar game, fantasy managers would be wise to temper their expectations going forward. Corum is still averaging a modest 32.8% snap share over the last eight weeks and is highly touchdown dependent. Running room will be much harder to find in Week 15 against the Detroit Lions.

Detroit has the eighth-lowest expected points added (EPA) in the run game (-19.72), along with the fifth-lowest success rate to runners (38.1%). The matchup, combined with Corum’s secondary role in the offense, makes him an RB3 with RB2 upside in Week 15.

Should I Start Devin Neal for Fantasy Football?

Neal has made the most of his expanded role with Alvin Kamara sidelined. Over the last two weeks, Neal has averaged a 76.9% snap share with 33 carries for 117 yards and a touchdown, along with four receptions for 36 yards.

Neal has struggled with efficiency (3.5 yards per attempt), but has gotten enough volume to be a factor in fantasy (12.7 PPR PPG). He even logged a top-15 finish in Week 14 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers thanks to his first touchdown of the season.

Kamara is unlikely to play in Week 15 as well, giving Neal the lead role once again against the Carolina Panthers. The Panthers feature a middle-of-the-road run defense, ranking 16th among all teams in rushing yards allowed (1,543) and rushing EPA (-9.55). They have allowed the seventh most rushing touchdowns in 2025 (16).

Neal is a high-end RB3 based on volume, but will need to find the end zone in Week 15 to hit an RB2 outcome again.

Should I Start Chris Rodriguez Jr. for Fantasy Football?

Rodriguez has taken over the lead role in the Washington Commanders’ backfield over the last three games. During that time, he is averaging a 42.6% snap share, racking up 36 carries for 172 yards and a touchdown. Unfortunately, his lack of pass-catching work (and the general struggles of the Commanders' offense) has made him hard to trust in fantasy.

Rodriguez will have an opportunity to have a much better fantasy day in Week 15 against the New York Giants. For one, the Giants don’t have an offense that has the proven ability to push opponents into passing game scripts in 2025. More importantly, they have been the worst defense in the NFL against the run this season.

Opposing teams have attempted the 14th-most rushing attempts against New York this season (347). However, those teams have racked up the second-most rushing yards (2,005) and fourth-most touchdowns (17) this season. The Giants are dead last in defensive rushing EPA (73.84), which is nearly 50 points greater than second place (Buffalo Bills, 27.39). They have also allowed a 48.4% success rate on the ground this season with 3.1 yards before contact.

Rodriguez missed practice early in the week with a groin injury, but was upgraded to a limited participant on Thursday. The Commanders also have the ability to divvy up his work between Rodriguez, Jeremy McNichols, and rookie Jacory Croskey-Merritt, which is concerning for Rodriguez’s ceiling.

It is safe to consider Rodriguez as a low-end RB2 or high-end RB3 heading into Week 15. He should be on the FLEX radar and could very well be a viable RB2 for teams navigating injuries.
