MLB Home Run Player Prop Bets Today: Best Hitter HR Props (9/2/2025)

Matt Wallner - fantasy baseball draft sleepers DFS MLB injury news

Casey Wilson's best MLB player prop bets for today (9/2/2025). Bet his home run props (HR props) and win money betting on MLB player props, including Roman Anthony, Matt Wallner, Brent Rooker, and Heliot Ramos.

We have 14 games this Tuesday in MLB. What better day for a home run article than "Dinger Tuesday?" I have to give a shout-out to Koby, who nailed three of his four home run bets yesterday in this article. That is a tough act to follow, but we are going to do our best to have a repeat performance today.

I will provide my four favorite home run bets on today’s slate. I do not recommend betting any more than four home runs, as it will be tough to sustain a bankroll. My favorite way to bet home runs is to round-robin them, which I will do tonight. I've put a small unit size on these, but I want the opportunity to cash in bigger if more than one home run is hit.

Below, you'll read about my favorite home run props from MLB games on Tuesday, September 22025. Odds for each pick are from DraftKings or FanDuel Sportsbooks and are subject to change throughout the day. Remember to always shop around at other sportsbooks for the best price so you can get more value on your wagers. Odds can vary greatly from one sportsbook to another.

MLB Prop Bets - Today's Home Run Prop Picks (9/2/2025)

Here are all the hitters I'll cover for HR props on Tuesday, September 2:

Roman Anthony OVER 0.5 Home Runs (+450 FanDuel)

Our first home run bet of the night comes in Boston, MA, at Fenway Park. The Red Sox will host the Guardians in their second game of the series. Slade Cecconi will toe the ribber for the Guardians, and he will be our target.

Cecconi has struggled this season with the long ball. He has allowed a 1.76 HR/9, 38.5% FB, and a 38.4% Hard Hit this season. Over the last thirty days, he has allowed a 2.45 HR/9, 40.4% FB, and a 45.6% Hard Hit. Fenway Park is not the ideal venue for him to pitch with his recent form.

Cecconi has allowed power to both sides of the dish, but lefties are where we are looking to attack with tonight. He has allowed a .464 SLG, .224 ISO, 14.2% Brl, and a 53.4% Hard Hit to left-handed hitters in 2025.

We are attacking Cecconi with the Red Sox young hitting prospect, Roman Anthony. Anthony has been electric since his call-up to the big leagues. He is slashing .297/.424/.479 with a .902 OPS, 21.5% Brl, and a 60.3% Hard Hit against right-handed pitchers in 2025.

Anthony is red hot as well. Over his last 33 plate appearances against right-handed pitching, Anthony is slashing .393/.455/.750 with a 1.205 OPS and three home runs.

Look for Anthony to continue to stay hot and get us on the board early on this Tuesday night.

Matt Wallner OVER 0.5 Home Runs (+320 DraftKings)

Davis Martin will get the rock for the White Sox tonight in Minneapolis at Target Field. The wind will be blowing out tonight at Target Field, which is excellent for hitting conditions, making it a good night for home runs.

Martin has struggled as of late with the long ball. Over the last thirty days, he has allowed a 2.55 HR/9, 49.3% FB, and a 43.7% Hard Hit. Over his previous two starts, he has allowed a 4.15 HR/9, 59.1% FB, and a 54.5% Hard Hit.

Lefties are the primary target for us when it comes to Martin. He has allowed 11 home runs against the split in 2025, including a .483 SLG, .229 ISO, 11.9% Brl, and a 49.4% Hard Hit. The Twins have several boppers in this lineup, but none with as much pop as Matt Wallner.

On the season, Wallner is slashing .206/.314/.500 with a .814 OPS, 20.9% Brl, and a 49.6% Hard Hit against right-hand pitching. Wallner has 17 home runs against right-hand pitching this season. Over his last 19 plate appearances against right-hand pitching, Wallner is slashing .222/.263/.889 with a 1.152 OPS and four home runs. He is scorching hot.

Wallner has a great history against Davis Martin in a tiny sample size. Wallner is slashing .400/.400/1.000 with a 1.400 OPS and one home run in five at-bats against Martin in his career.

Wallner is one of my favorite bets on the board tonight in an exceptional match.

Brent Rooker OVER 0.5 Home Runs (+390 DraftKings)

The Cardinals will host the Athletics tonight at Busch Stadium in St. Louis. Busch is a good pitchers' park, but the matchup is way too ripe for Brent Rooker tonight. Miles Mikolas will be pitching for the Redbirds tonight, and he is the primary target for us.

Mikolas, on the season, has allowed a 1.66 HR/9, 43/2% FB, and a 33.3% Hard Hit. Over his last thirty, he has allowed a 2.42 HR/9, 37.0% FB, and a 42.2% Hard Hit. Both sides of the plate have crushed him as he has allowed 24 home runs this season. Righties have a .466 SLG, .192 ISO, 13.6% Brl, 40.9% Hard Hit, and nine home runs.

The Athletics are a team who have hit a ton of home runs this season. There are a few bats who profile well here, but I am going with Brent Rooker, whom I typically never target against right-handed pitching.

Rooker is slashing .271/.343/.496 with a .839 OPS, 15.8% Brl, 45.1% Hard Hit, and 27 home runs against righties in 2025. Over his last 37 plate appearances against righties, he is slashing .303/.351/.696 with a .957 OPS. During that span, he has a 58.6% pull rate and a 34.5% FB rate.

I love the chances for Rooker to run into one here, and in a stadium that requires more power to get the ball out, Rooker is our best bet to do so.

Heliot Ramos OVER 0.5 Home Runs (+380 DraftKings)

Our last bet of the night comes in Denver, the Mile High City, at Coors Field. The southpaw Kyle Freeland will get the ball for the Rockies, and he has been prone all season to giving up home runs.

Kyle Freeland has allowed 20 home runs this season, and 19 of those have been against right-handed hitters. Righties have a .499 SLG, .195 ISO, 11.2% Brl, and a 47.5% Hard Hit this season. Over his last two starts, Freeland has allowed a 2.40 HR/9, 52.2% FB, and a 42.6% Hard Hit.

Heliot Ramos has been one of the best bats in the big leagues over the last two seasons against left-handed pitching. In 2025, he has four home runs and is slashing .230/.337/.368 with a 13.4% Brl and a 49.3% Hard Hit against lefties.

Ramos has a great history against Freeland as well and was one of the big reasons I chose him over the likes of Willy Adames and Matt Chapman. Ramos is slashing .333/.333/.833 with a 1.167 OPS and a 55.6% Brl against Freeland in his career.

Coors Field is always a great place to go home run hunting, and Heliot Ramos is going to bring us home on a high note for our last home run bet of the night.
