FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (11/14/21): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

Stephen Curry - NBA DFS Picks, Daily Fantasy Basketball

Dennis Clausen highlights the top FanDuel NBA DFS lineup picks for 11/14/21, and a couple of sleepers to consider while building daily rosters.

The weekend comes to a close, and with the National Football League keeping things going in Week 10, the guys over in the National Basketball Association are also busy. The festivities in the NBA begin early, with the hobbled Lakers hosting the visiting San Antonio Spurs. Both squads are loaded with injury designations, although we won't have to worry about that, mainly because that game isn't included as a part of FanDuel's "Main Slate," which begins at 6 pm (Eastern).

Fortunately, we already have some clarity regarding who is--and who isn't--available on Sunday. On the league's official injury report, Giannis Antetokounmpo is classified as probable after sitting on Friday night because of a sprained right ankle. Still, he carried the same designation heading into the matchup with Boston, so DFS managers should take things with a grain of salt until he is officially cleared. To round out the major injuries, Deandre Ayton remains doubtful, while Nikola Vucevic and Damian Lillard are both out.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 11/14/21. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel. You can also check out today's DraftKings NBA DFS lineup picks. FanDuel Guards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Stephen Curry, PG - @ CHA ($10,300)

It's a new season, but it's the same story. Curry continues to dominate, averaging 28.4 points per game, ranking him second behind Kevin Durant for the league's top spot, and he's also shooting 40 percent from deep off 13.3 attempts. The former Most Valuable Player is unquestionably making his case for another as he continues to lead a Warriors team that currently has the best record in the NBA. He didn't play the best during Golden State's first meeting against Charlotte, mainly on the scoring end. However, Curry has been red hot, so we should like his chances against the Hornets to finish as the evening's top fantasy producer--or at least one of them.

James Harden, SG/PG - @ OKC ($9,600)

Harden arguably had his best showing of the 2021-22 campaign against the Pelicans on Friday night. He finished with a season-high 39 points, doing so while draining six of his 10 attempts from deep. Harden also finally got some foul calls and took 15 shots from the free-throw line, sinking 11 of them. The 32-year-old will next square off against the Thunder, a team that he is all-too-familiar with, primarily since he played there for three seasons to begin his career. Historically, he's performed well versus OKC, averaging 28.2 points, 7.6 assists, and 6.3 rebounds throughout 29 meetings. As a result, Harden should be viewed as a viable alternative for those looking to avoid the hefty price tag that Stephen Curry commands.

CJ McCollum, SG - @ DEN ($7,500)

As mentioned, Damian Lillard will not play against the Nuggets because of an abdomen issue. Things aren't looking good, so it's not unreasonable to assume that Dame D.O.L.L.A. will miss some more contests moving ahead. For that reason, McCollum should benefit from a production standpoint on Sunday. Not only does McCollum gain a team-high 4.7 percent increase in usage, but he's also averaged 28.1 points, 6.2 assists, and 5.0 rebounds without Lillard on the floor throughout his career. DFS managers should expect him to have the keys to the offense versus Denver and subsequent outings until Lillard can make it back.

FanDuel Forwards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Bobby Portis, PF/C - @ ATL ($6,400)

Brook Lopez has appeared in only one game this season due to back issues, so there is room for Portis to remain involved against the Hawks and beyond, even when Khris Middleton, Jrue Holiday, and Giannis Antetokounmpo collectively take the floor in the near future. He logged 41 minutes against the Celtics on Friday and finished with 22 points, six boards, and two assists. To add, he also has at least 30.2 fantasy points in three of his last four appearances. Granted, his numbers against Boston were inflated without the Greek Freak. Yet, he should continue to get plenty of action along with the opportunities to maximize his time on the court.

Norman Powell, SF/SG - @ DEN ($6,000)

Without a doubt, Powell is another one who should see an uptick offensively without Lillard in the mix. It was apparent that the longtime Raptor would have a substantial role with the Blazers this season. Yet, he's currently playing better than expected, especially from distance, as he is presently sitting on a 45.5 three-point percentage on the year. Nonetheless, CJ McCollum will be the favorite to produce without Dame, although there could be times when Powell outperforms him during the star's absence.

Jeff Green, PF/SF - vs. POR ($4,400)

Portland isn't the only team missing one of its stars, as Michael Porter Jr. won't play on Sunday because of a bad back. In his stead, Green will probably continue to assume a more consistent role in the rotation. The veteran accumulated 28.3 fantasy points the other night against the Hawks, mostly off his 16 points throughout 31 minutes. Green doesn't have the same upside as Will Barton or Aaron Gordon. Yet, he should at least remain on the radar in tournament formats, not cash.

FanDuel Centers - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

LaMarcus Aldridge, C/PF - @ OKC ($5,200)

Nicolas Claxton has been sick with a non-COVID related illness. He is feeling better, but not good enough to make it back into the Nets' lineup. Fortunately for Brooklyn, Aldridge, who retired last season because of a heart condition, has returned to carry a sizeable workload for the team. He doesn't play a ton of minutes, but he is always in the running to hit and even exceed his value.
