Robert Lorge breaks down all 2021 fantasy football Week 10 kickers -- streamers, starts, sits, targets, avoids, and waiver wire pickups. His Week 10 rankings and tiers for all of the NFL kickers.

Week 9... what an absolute cluster. The Buffalo Bills lost to the Jacksonville Jaguars, 9–6. The Broncos went and punched the Cowboys in the mouth and the Cowboys didn't even bother to put up a fight. It was quite the week so it only made sense that after a week of championing Greg Joseph and Randy Bullock, the two of them would go out and score seven and four points respectively. Ugh! As far as Week 9 went, it was about par for the course.

Touting any player the week before they drop a dud sucks. There's absolutely no way around it, but the goal shouldn't be to always be right – that's impossible. The goal should rather be to always make sound and insightful decisions and accepting whatever happens next. Fantasy football is an imperfect science based on an unpredictable game. Don't think for a second that I'm not still advocating fantasy managers to go out and target Joseph and Bullock, because I am. Fantasy managers shouldn't have any concerns about putting Joseph right back into their lineups this week in an excellent matchup against the Chargers.

One of the better stories over the last four weeks has been the resurgence of last year's favorite fantasy kicker, Younghoe Koo. Over his last four games, he's averaging 10.5 points per game with four games of nine points or more in every outing. He's got another great matchup coming up in Week 10. If fantasy managers lost faith after the first four weeks of the season, he's done more than enough to get back into their good graces – more on him to come.

Kicker Streamers to Target for Week 10

Younghoe Koo, Atlanta Falcons

Don't look now, but Koo has been fantastic over the past four games and he should be someone fantasy managers are looking to get into their fantasy matchup this weekend. There's so much to like about the matchup. The implied point total of 52.5 is one of the highest totals expected in Week 10. While the game isn't in Atlanta, it is in Dallas, which allows Koo more dome kicking. The Cowboys struggled mightily in Week 9 and fantasy managers should expect the Cowboys to come out swinging. This should be a fast-paced game, which is an excellent recipe for fantasy success.

Chris Boswell, Pittsburgh Steelers

Full disclosure: I strongly dislike the Steelers' offense. That said, the Lions' defense has a way of mitigating those concerns. Through nine weeks, the Lions are giving up 10 points per game to opposing kickers, which is the second-highest average in the league. It's an excellent matchup and the Steelers are at home, which is always a good thing. The lower implied total is not ideal, but even Pittsburgh's offense shouldn't have a problem racking up plenty of points at home against Detroit's lackluster defense. I expect a solid outing from Boswell and fantasy managers shouldn't be shy from streaming him in one of the best matchups on the docket.

Michael Badgley, Indianapolis Colts 

Since coming over to Indy in Week 6, Badgley hasn't been good, but he hasn't been bad either. The important thing, after struggling with accuracy issues in the past, is that he has not missed a kick in a Colts' uniform. The efficiency part is excellent. As it relates to fantasy football, the Colts' offense has been too good as of late. They've kicked 17 extra points to only four field goals in the past four outings – certainly not ideal for your fantasy kicker. He's been consistent though, scoring between 7–9 points each week. The lack of field goal attempts has halted his ability to put up a big scoring game. That may not change in Week 10 against Jacksonville. However, the implied point total of 47.5 isn't anything to shy away from. The Jaguars have also allowed the fifth-most points to opposing kickers this season.

Kicker Busts to Avoid for Week 10

Daniel Carlson, Las Vegas Raiders

This is a call that definitely makes me nervous since I have him ranked as my second-best kicker this week, but there are some concerns. The implied point total of 52 looks great on paper, but it's one I have significant questions about. The Chiefs and their opponents have collectively scored 20, 37 and 30 in the past three weeks. I expect the Raiders to play the Chiefs as everyone has done this season, with two high safeties, which significantly slows the game down and limits scoring. The Chiefs' defense has played better recently, holding opposing offenses' to 13, 17, and seven points in three of their last four. The Chiefs also give up the 10th fewest fantasy points to opposing kickers. While I'm not benching Carlson by any means, I am lowering my expectations and bracing to be a bit disappointed.

Nick Folk, New England Patriots

The Patriots are at home in Week 10 against the Cleveland Browns. It's a terrible matchup as far as kickers are concerned. The Browns have allowed the fifth-fewest points to kickers this season at just 4.89 points. The Patriots could also be without Damien Harris and Rhamondre Stevenson, who both left last week's game early with possible concussions. The loss of both of these players would drastically change their offense and it would put a lot of pressure on rookie Mac Jones. The Browns' secondary just did a number on Joe Burrow last week, so they're playing well. The Browns and Patriots rely on the running games, which tends to slow the game down and limit scoring. That shows up in the implied point total of just 45 points.

Harrison Butker, Kansas City Chiefs

The Chiefs' offense is in shambles recently and while fantasy managers can't really bench Patrick Mahomes, Tyreek Hill, or Travis Kelce – they can find a more dependable kicker. He has not scored more than 10 points all season and has four games with six or fewer points. Their offense has been stuck having to dink and dunk their way down the field and that style of offense tends to take a lot of time off the clock, which is part of the reason fantasy managers have had to deal with lower than expected scores from the Chiefs. With these two teams being in the same division and the playoff race in full swing, I expect a tight contest, which could be much lower scoring than we've been accustomed to from these two squads. Simply put – I just don't trust the Chiefs' offense right now.
