ANALYSIS: I feel like this should be Russell Gage but he was completely absent in Week 8 while Sharpe led the team in receiving with 58 yards on five receptions. For those who haven't heard, star wideout Calvin Ridley missed another game due to personal reasons and is taking an indefinite leave of absence for mental health reasons.
We wish all the best to Ridley on a personal level. As far as fantasy football, someone other than TE Kyle Pitts will have to pick up the vacated targets and Sharpe looks to be first in line. His low aDOT and presence in an inconsistent offense limit his appeal but the Falcons do throw the ball at one of the highest rates in the league. Sharpe is only viable in full PPR leagues but is worth an add for desperate Ridley stakeholders.
