Worlds Group Stage DFS Lineup Picks for 10/12/21 - FanDuel, DraftKings League Of Legends Daily Fantasy

Nolan Roth's League of Leagues (LoL) analysis and Worlds DFS lineup picks for FanDuel, DraftKings on 10/12/21. He discusses the Worlds Group Stage LoL slates and his top targets.

Welcome to RotoBaller's coverage of League of Legends DFS for both FanDuel and DraftKings. Worlds Group Stage is finally upon us after one of the more memorable play-in stages in recent years.

Worlds is the best time of year for League of Legends as we get to see the top teams from all the regions battle it out to see who is the best. There are plenty of great teams in this tournament and I look forward to covering the DFS slates along the way.

Today I'll be bringing you my top League of Legends advice, analysis, and picks, for the slate beginning on Tuesday, October 12th, 2021 at 7:00 AM EST. You can check me out on Twitter @nolanroth10 and follow me for more LOL content!

Matchups

  • T1 vs. EDG (-125)
  • DWG (-500) vs. RGE
  • PSG vs. HLE (-185)
  • FNC vs. RNG (-500)
  • FPX (-475) vs. C9
  • 100T (-240)  vs. DFM
  • Gen G (-165) vs. MAD
  • TL vs. LNG (-220)

Captain

Gala - RNG: Similar to yesterday's slate, Gala is in a great spot here against an aggressive Fnatic team who is playing without their static ADC. Gala is not easy to fit in as captain but that could lead to depressed ownership. Gala had a 31.3% kill share in yesterday's game against PSG.

Faker - T1: All of T1 is very cheap on this slate and we all know Faker is the GOAT. They are slight underdogs in this game but looked very good against DFM on Monday grabbing 22 kills and winning in under 20 minutes.  Faker went 4/0/5 in that game.

TOP

Xiahou - RNG: Xiahou was second to Gala in kill share during the summer split and has massive upside in the top lane on this slate. He is one of the cheaper members of RNG which makes fitting him into lineups much easier compared to some of the other lanes. RNG could play towards the top lane early on as Gala farms up on the bottom side.

Ssumday - 100T: 100 Thieves did not play well losing to EDG pretty easily yesterday. However, they get a much weaker DFM team on this slate who died 22 times in their loss against T1. 100T were only able to collect 6 kills in their loss but Ssumday secured 4 of them.

JUNGLE

Oner - T1: As I mentioned with Faker. T1 is super cheap as Oner is the third cheapest jungler on the slate on DK. Oner is fresh off an 11/1/6 game and was involved in 77.3% of the T1 kills. Oner is one of the best values on the slate.

Wei - RNG: If you are planning to stack RNG, Wei is an absolute lock in your lineups. Wei does so much for this RNG team and is consistently able to help get his laners ahead. He was second and third in kill share and participation during the summer split. Wei had a 75% kill participation in their first game of the tournament.

MID

Faker - T1: See above

ShowMaker - DWG: This pick comes with some risk as I could see the game being a slow-drawn-out game which usually leads to lower kill totals. However, ShowMaker is one of the best players at this tournament and racked up a GD10 of over 1000!! in their first game. DWG should continue their winning ways against RGE and ShowMaker will likely be at the forefront.

ADC

Gala - RNG: See above.

Lwx - FPX: Lwx is the second most expensive ADC next to Gala so there is almost no way you can get them in the same lineup. FPX should come out firing after getting crushed by DWG yesterday. C9 is not the same level of competition and FPX should grab the win in this one. Lwx had a 30.1% kill share during the FPX playoff run.

SUPPORT

Ming- RNG: If you can afford Ming, he is the support to target on this slate. Ming and Gala are the stronger bot lane in this matchup and Gala is capable of putting up massive kill totals giving Ming plenty of assists along the way. Hylissang is an aggressive support on the other side and with a replacement ADC next to him the synergy won't be the same and that could make them very vulnerable against Gala and Ming.

huhi - 100T: huhi is a nice mid-range option, he had a 70% kill participation in 100T playoff run that saw them take home the LCS title and was involved in all but 1 kill in their loss yesterday. 100T should be much better in this matchup and huhi will be very involved.

TEAM

FPX: FPX will want to redeem themselves after getting stomped by DWG. C9 is a much easier matchup and FPX should be very focused for this one. FPX is expensive but will be worth it.

T1: T1 is the cheap option I would play in the team slot, everyone below them are in much tougher situations. T1 captured 100% of the dragons in their first game and won before baron even spawned.

Final Thoughts

RNG/FNC is the main game I am looking to target but there are plenty of games with great options. My top 4 teams based on pricing for this slate are RNG, T1, 100T, FPX. Good luck to everyone and feel free to reach out to me on Twitter with any questions.
