DraftKings CFB DFS Lineup Picks: Daily Fantasy College Football (9/18/21 Late Night)

breece hall NFL Draft fantasy football rankings rookies draft sleepers

Mike Marteny's DraftKings daily fantasy college football lineup picks for the late night slate on 9/18/21. His CFB DFS lineup picks and DFS sleepers will help you win big.

Did you think our college football DFS coverage was done for the day? Just because most of the world goes to bed before the late night slate doesn't mean that I do! College football addicts and DFS degenerates unite! We've got a nice four-game late night snack for you on DraftKings. It's not over until we say it is!

These late night tournaments on DraftKings have been outstanding this year and tonight is no different. We have Arizona State heading up to Provo. Iowa State heads out to Vegas to give the left coast folks a taste of that offense. Fresno gave the Ducks hell, now they head to L.A. to do the same to UCLA. We close this out on the islands with San Jose State taking their brand of trouble to paradise. This is going to be another great one!

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college football lineup picks for DraftKings on 9/18/21. I’ll be providing multiple player suggestions for players at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option apiece at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CFB DFS Quarterbacks

Nick Starkel, San Jose State ($8,200)

Starkel was a disaster against USC, but Hawaii has allowed 283 passing yards per game so far. The Spartans are going to have to throw to head back from the islands with a win. This price is a little steep, but there is a lot of potential here against a porous Hawaii secondary.

Jaren Hall, BYU ($6,700)

The Arizona State defense has been very good thus far, but they have played easy opponents. Hall had a strong game against Arizona and was even better against Utah in the Holy War upset. Hall's rushing ability adds a lot of invisible points to his total. He wont have as many of those lanes against Sparky, but Hall runs well enough to keep the defense honest, which will give him some easy passes here and there.

Also consider: Jake Haener, Fresno State ($7,700); Chase Cordeiro, Hawaii ($7,300); Jayden Daniels, Arizona State ($6,200)

DraftKings CFB DFS Running Backs

Breece Hall, Iowa State ($7,600)

Hall gets his first cake matchup of the year out in Vegas. Hall has still scored a rushing touchdown in 14 straight games. This will most certainly be 15 and he should be in line for his first triple digit yardage game of the season so long as the Cyclones don't yank him before halftime.

Tyler Nevens, San Jose State ($6,300)

Hawaii has allowed 192.3 rushing yards per game and a staggering nine rushing touchdowns already. They can't stop the run at all and San Jose State will have no problems controlling the game on the ground if they have to. It will give the defense a rest and keep the Hawaii offense off the field. Nevens could be in for a big game here.

Dae Dae Hunter, Hawaii ($5,000)

There are a whole lot of timeshares on this slate for running attacks, and on the surface, Hawaii looks like one of those. I don't think they are. Calvin Turner didn't have a rush attempt against UCLA and only carried three times each against Portland State and Oregon State. Turner went nuts as a receiver and is spending most of his time split out of the backfield. That leaves Hunter as the lead back. Of course, the lead back in a West Coast offense relies a lot on receptions. Hey, those are free points! Hunter is looking better and better. Even though the Beavers locked him up on the ground, Hunter caught five passes for 83 yards.

Also consider: Calvin Turner, Hawaii ($7,900); Zach Charbonnet, UCLA ($7,000); Ronnie Rivers, Fresno State ($5,700)

DraftKings CFB DFS Wide Receivers

Jalen Cropper, Fresno State ($7,200)

I don't like the matchup for Cropper, but he is by far the most reliable receiver on the slate. If Fresno is going to hang around against the Bruins, Cropper will have to be heavily involved like he was against Oregon. Cropper had 18.7 DraftKings points against the Ducks. He should be in that vicinity again tonight.

Nick Mardner, Hawaii ($5,400)

I was a little early on Mardner. He had a big game against Oregon State and is emerging as the best receiver for the Warriors. Swiss Army knife Calvin Turner is taking some touches away, but Hawaii throws so much that Mardner is still going to see a big load of targets. He's a cheap way to get a piece of this offense.

Derrick Deese Jr., San Jose State ($4,600)

Isaiah Hamilton has only caught about half of his targets on the season. At some point that starts to wear on a quarterback. Deese and Nevada transfer Charles Ross are hauling in a higher share of targets and are both much cheaper than Hamilton. There should be enough balls to go around out on the islands. I'm looking at the cheaper receivers to include in my Spartans stacks.

Puka Nacua, BYU ($3,900)

He was targeted more than his older brother by Jaren Hall against Utah. Whether that remains a trend or not going forward remains to be seen. We can count on both to them being involved again if the Cougars want to knock off an Arizona State team that really hasn't played that well yet. If you need to go cheap at receiver, the Nacua brothers are nice options.

Also consider: Isaiah Hamilton, San Jose State ($6,600); Tarique Milton, Iowa State ($5,200); Zane Pope, Fresno State ($4,100)
