Xfinity 500: DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy NASCAR Lineup Picks

Spooky Hot Dog Season is upon us as the NASCAR Cup Series heads back to Martinsville one final time in 2020. Chef Boi and I weren't able to produce our usual DFS Preview Show on RotoBaller YouTube, so I'm vowing now to bring the heat for the Garage Fam who read this article week in and week out. Martinsville is one of my favorite races on the NASCAR schedule, and it shows with the tourneys I've bagged and winnings I've collected at this track (so saddle up because we're going zero to one hundred real quick).

Brad Keselowski will be on the pole this weekend followed by Martin Truex Jr. in P2. This is about as suspenseful of a start you could ask for at this track due to both of their incredible laps led records. Regardless of what anyone says, one of these guys will be in the winning lineup, (unless Zeus gets mad and slings lightning bolts from the sky at their cars) and you should take my word because I'm also a hot dog connoisseur, which you have to be to call any race at Martinsville successfully.

The big question is whether we'll see Denny Hamlin and Kevin Harvick step their game up on Sunday. The two NASCAR bad boys are seeming to have some end of season jitters based on their past few races, and without a good finish for both of them on Sunday, the vibes could hit season lows. The good news is that I've attached a Garage Guys classic with Randy The Plumber to bring good vibes, and BIG "Martinsville Hot Dog" Energy to us all.

Martin Truex Jr. #19

(DraftKings $11,800 | FanDuel $13,500 | DK Sportsbook +325 - 1 Unit)

Truex Jr. is the heavy favorite at the paperclip this Sunday, and it's really no surprise because Martinsville is for Martin (it's science). If that's not enough for you no worries, I brought statistics with me. Truex Jr. has won the last two races at this track, and led a total of 596 laps in both of them.

Chase Elliott #9

(DraftKings $10,400 | FanDuel $12,300 | DK Sportsbook +900 - .5 Unit)

The Last Dance was one of the most incredible documentaries that dropped in 2020, and like the title, Chase knows this is his last dance to make it into the championship four. Elliott has his work cut out for him, but he's not a fade starting in P8. Elliott makes a good place differential play on Sunday, and has a best finish of P2 at this track.

Brad Keselowski #2

(DraftKings $11,400 | FanDuel $13,000 | DK Sportsbook +550 - 1 Unit)

Brad loves paperclips, and the paperclip loves Brad. Keselowski has lingered in the playoffs after having a semi-quiet season with wins that sneak up on you worse than Casper The Friendly Ghost. Kes is also rocking the Dent Wizard paint scheme this week on the pole, and will get first dibs at slapping some laps led wizardry with a total of 451 laps led since 2019.

Bubba Wallace #43

(DraftKings $7,200 | FanDuel $7,000 | DK Sportsbook (Top 10) +300 -  .5 Unit)

Bubba has had a busy and exciting week after the unveiling of the new 23XI Toyota Camry on Friday, and all that hype has to be pushed out somewhere, Wallace has progressed every time he's run Martinsville, and I'm on record saying I feel his first victory will come here. I won't say I'm ready to call the victory this Sunday, but I will be playing a ton of Bubba starting in P32.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. #47

(DraftKings $6,300 | FanDuel $6,400)

For most NASCAR DFS players, there's nothing scarier than riding out a Stenhouse Jr. lineup, but It's Halloween weekend and I'm feeling spooky. Stenhouse Jr. will be starting in P18, and has two career Top 10's at this track. Back in June, Ricky finished a few spots behind where he started, but keep in mind this play is based strictly on "Gut Boi Energy".

Clint Bowyer #14

(DraftKings $8,300 | FanDuel $10,000)

Bowyer's farewell tour is still rolling, but there's been more "oof strategy" used in races than most people can handle. I feel like we will see a better performance from Clint in his last race at the track he last won at. Bowyer starts in P16 on Sunday, and I look for him to lock up a Top 10 finish, and then drink beer while eating hot dogs.

Chris Buescher #17

(DraftKings $6,700 | FanDuel $6,600)

I'm not Buesch'ittin you when I tell you that I'm excited about Buescher this Sunday. Last week, Chris decided that he wanted to curse lineups early, (probably not by choice) but that's because he's testing you to see if you really have what it takes to forgive and forget. I for one will be forgiving Buescher after seeing his two recent Top 15's at this track, and a cheap price tag on Sunday.

Corey LaJoie #32

(DraftKings $5,500 | FanDuel $4,000)

The value play king always has a spot in my article for the most part, and other than superspeedways, this is one of my favorite weeks to play LaJoie. Corey has a very impressive record at Martinsville for the equipment he's in, and that tells us he is naturally comfortable at the paperclip. LaJoie has two Top 20's since running with Go Fas Racing, and starts in P26 on Sunday.
