Yuli Gurriel Remains Steady Source Of Production In 2020
Yuli Gurriel is quietly on pace for the best offensive season of his career in 2020. His elite ability at not striking out (11.3 K%, 14.3 Whiff%) continues to help him parlay his success, as he has particularly torpedoed fastballs this year to the tune of a .611 SLG. The .904 OPS that he has amassed through his first 25 games is on pace to be a career best, all while hitting amidst an order that has significant thump. After spending a series at Coors Field, Gurriel will now get the complete opposite effect, likely having his bat suppressed by Petco Park. While he remains a season-long entity in all formats, owners may choose to look elsewhere from a DFS perspective over the next handful of games.
