Lou Williams Drops 22 Points In Return To Starting Five
Lou Williams drew the start during Sunday’s loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder in place of Kawhi Leonard and went for 22 points on 7-for-20 shooting. He added seven assists and three rebounds to his stat line, but it was the scoring output that bodes well for his future outlook; his 20 shot attempts were his most in an outing since Nov. 20. The stint amongst the starters was likely just a one game way to shake up the rotation, as Williams will likely head back to his role of running the second unit when he faces the Lakers on Wednesday.
