In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for FanDuel on 7/14/2019. The picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

FanDuel DFS Pitchers
Jacob deGrom: NYM at MIA ($10,800)
Even with a few aces on the mound today, it's going to be tough to avoid deGrom, particularly in cash games. He'll probably be a chalk play, but it's worth it with this matchup. The Marlins are the worst lineup in baseball against right-handed pitching with their awful .285 wOBA, and they've also got a very high 25.0% K-rate. deGrom has seven straight quality starts and is the safest option at starting pitcher you can ask for, with a 2.27 Deserved Run Average.
Masahiro Tanaka: NYY vs TOR ($8,100)
Tanaka is a cheaper starting pitcher to target if you don't want to spend on a stud, albeit a much riskier choice. He's got plenty of upside against a Blue Jays lineup that has just a .297 wOBA versus righties, which ranks them as a bottom-five offense. Tanaka's gotten shelled in his last two outings, but those starts were against much tougher opponents in the Rays and Red Sox - he may end up as a contrarian play if others are scared off by his recent struggles. Sunday's slate has slim pickings at value starting pitchers, so Tanaka is likely your best bet if you want to save some payroll.
FanDuel DFS Infielders
Jose Abreu: 1B, CWS at OAK ($3,700)
Abreu has been obliterating left-handed pitching this year with a 164 wRC+, striking out just 15.2% of the time with a .402 OBP against southpaws. Opposing starter Brett Anderson has been much worse than his ERA would suggest, with a 5.35 SIERA and a pathetic 12.0% K-rate. Abreu's been one of fantasy's best power producers with 21 homers and 66 RBI out of the White Sox three-hole.
Jose Altuve: 2B, HOU at TEX ($3,800)
The Astros are in line for a big day against Rangers starter Ariel Jurado, owner of a 4.52 FIP, in a hitter-friendly park in Texas. Altuve is coming off of a 4-for-6 game and is batting .333 over the last 15 days, finally looking like the elite contact hitter that we've known for years. He's a smart investment in cash games for his high floor batting second for Houston, where he should be able to score some runs.
Pablo Sandoval: 3B, SFG at MIL ($2,500)
Sandoval has actually been mashing in his limited playing time this year, with a 122 wRC+ and 11 homers in only 198 plate appearances. He's not a guarantee to crack the lineup, but he batted third yesterday and will come at an extremely cheap price if he plays. The Giants are a sneaky value stack in a hitter's environment against Jhoulys Chacin, who has a 5.40 ERA.
Marcus Semien: SS, OAK vs CWS ($3,400)
Semien is in the midst of a career year at age 28, posting his best marks in walk rate, strikeout rate, and wOBA. He's batting leadoff against one of the worst starters in the bigs, Reynaldo Lopez, who has a 6.34 ERA with a 2.11 HR/9. Semien continues to fly under the radar at this price.
FanDuel DFS Outfielders
Yasiel Puig: CIN at COL ($3,700)
There's just no way to turn away from him at this price. Puig and the Reds showed how insane Coors Field can be last night, with a 17 run outburst including a 4-for-6 out of Puig with a dinger, three runs, and four RBI. He's now got a 1.274 OPS with 10 home runs and four steals in the last month.
Kevin Kiermaier: TAM at BAL ($2,900)
Tampa Bay has been pummeling the pitiful Orioles pitching staff, and Kiermaier should continue to feast from their three spot. He's batting .324 with four steals in the last 15 days, and provides a unique opportunity for both speed numbers and counting stats at a low price.
Scott Kingery: PHI vs WAS ($3,100)
Kingery is slashing .287/.341/.531 this year and is the Phillies regular leadoff man, putting him in a position to rack up hits and runs. Nationals righty Anibal Sanchez has a 4.53 FIP and is suspect in a hitter-friendly park. It's tough to go wrong with a leadoff hitter at this price.
