Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 7:
George Kittle, San Francisco 49ers
San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle has emerged as the overall TE3 in PPR scoring this season with five touchdowns over his last five games. Kittle was limited in Week 1 due to his Achilles recovery, but ever since then, he has been a steady high-end TE1 option for fantasy football. In fact, from Weeks 2-6, he ranks as the highest-scoring tight end in PPR leagues.
For several years now, the Iowa product has been a fantastic fantasy option because of his physicality and nose for the end zone. He offers versatility in the Niners' offense, as he ranks second among NFL tight ends in red zone targets but also third in deep target share. Meanwhile, his 0.65 fantasy points per route run ranks second-best among tight ends this season.
As long as he can stay healthy, Kittle will continue to be a high-end TE1 and should be started in all leagues.
Jake Ferguson, Dallas Cowboys
Dallas Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson hauled in two of three targets for 13 yards in the 23-13 loss to the Green Bay Packers. After two drops, one resulting in an INT, in Week 5, the Cowboys rotated tight ends more often against the Packers. Ferguson played a season-low 62% of snaps and ran 55% of routes on Sunday. With Ferguson phased out, Brevyn Spann-Ford played a season-high 46% of snaps and had four receptions on five targets for 35 yards in Week 6.
With wide receivers CeeDee Lamb, George Pickens, and Ryan Flournoy as the top three targets in this offense, there's little room left for Ferguson, who has struggled in 2026. Fantasy managers can safely drop the Cowboys tight end, as there are much better options on the waiver wire.
Isaiah Likely, New York Giants
New York Giants tight end Isaiah Likely is certainly enjoying his first season in the Big Apple in 2026. Likely was a big contributor once again in Sunday's Week 6 loss to the visiting New Orleans Saints, catching six of his 11 targets for 99 yards and one touchdown.
The 26-year-old's 11 targets were second to receiver Malik Nabers' 15, and his 99 yards trailed only Nabers as well. The big game came in a contest in which veteran quarterback Jameis Winston was benched in favor of J.J. McCarthy. Likely's production did not slow after the switch under center, and his touchdown catch came on a 24-yard hookup with McCarthy in the fourth quarter as the Giants tried to make things interesting in an eventual 34-27 loss.
He has been the clear No. 2 target behind Nabers in what has been a pass-happy offense under head coach John Harbaugh. Likely is coming through on his breakout potential in New York, as he is currently the No. 1 overall in half-PPR scoring with 39 catches, 383 yards, and five touchdowns in his first six games played. He should be locked into all starting fantasy lineups for his Week 7 matchup against the Houston Texans.
Dallas Goedert, Philadelphia Eagles
Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert (knee) missed a second straight day of practice on Friday. The Philadelphia Inquirer's Jeff McLane said that as of Thursday, there was a sense of optimism that Goedert would be ready to play for the Monday night showdown against the division-rival Dallas Cowboys, but that sense could be changing quickly after a second straight DNP for the veteran tight end.
In addition to Goedert, receivers DeVonta Smith (hamstring) and Dontayvion Wicks (ankle) missed a second straight practice and are trending in the wrong direction to play on Monday against Dallas. The 31-year-old Goedert missed Weeks 3 and 4 with an MCL sprain in his knee, so this injury could be related and require him to miss another game. Philly's offense is falling apart, with quarterback Jalen Hurts (blood clots) also out for the rest of the season.
If Goedert, Smith, and Wicks cannot play, rookie first-rounder Makai Lemon figures to be QB Tanner McKee's top passing-game target. If Goedert draws a questionable tag, he will be an extremely shaky risk/reward TE1 in fantasy this week.
The former second-rounder showed good chemistry with McKee in last week's loss to the Carolina Panthers, catching six of eight targets for 61 yards. He could be a safety blanket for the inexperienced QB once he is past his knee injury.
