Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 7:
Xavier Worthy, Kansas City Chiefs
Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy made his Week 6 impact without a single reception longer than 19 yards. He caught all seven targets for 73 yards, leading the team in both categories during a 22-6 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers. Against Las Vegas in Week 4, a 41-yard catch accounted for most of his 70 receiving yards.
Worthy now has 143 yards across his last two appearances after totaling just 63 in his first three, and Week 6 marked his highest catch total of the season. He also drew seven targets in Week 2, making his more productive use of those opportunities the meaningful development. Rashee Rice (hamstring/knee) missed the Chargers game and did not practice Wednesday, and Tyquan Thornton (ankle) remains on injured reserve.
Worthy's contributions on shorter throws give him PPR flex value for Week 7 against Seattle.
Ollie Gordon II, Miami Dolphins
Running back Ollie Gordon II looks to continue his role as the clear lead running back for the Miami Dolphins in the absence of De'Von Achane (knee), who is on injured reserve and is out for the remainder of the 2026 season due to a torn ACL. The Dolphins are coming off a bye week in Week 6, but in the two weeks prior, Gordon dominated Miami's backfield in offensive snaps played and rushing attempts.
In Week 4 and Week 5, Gordon played 65 offensive snaps and rushed 27 times for 188 yards (6.96 yards per carry) and two touchdowns. Additionally, in the Week 3 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, which was the game in which Achane exited with the injury, Gordon rushed 17 times for 41 yards (2.4 yards per carry) and a touchdown, while adding three receptions for 14 yards.
Gordon has worked far ahead of fellow tailback Jaylen Wright, who has played just 21 offensive snaps over the past two games. Wright amassed just 11 rushes for 18 total yards (1.64 yards per carry) over those two games, and he is yet to record a reception or touchdown in 2026. Gordon is RotoBaller's No. 24 running back for a Week 7 matchup with the New York Jets and has RB2 or flex appeal.
George Pickens, Dallas Cowboys
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver George Pickens (shoulder) is on the Week 7 injury report and was listed as a limited participant in the team's first practice of the week on Thursday, according to Jon Machota of The Athletic. The Cowboys do not play the division-rival Philadelphia Eagles in Week 7 until Monday night, so Pickens still has two more opportunities to upgrade to a full practice.
As of right now, fantasy managers should not have any reason to doubt that the 25-year-old will not play against the Eagles. Pickens has not been as strong so far this year as he was in 2025 in what was a breakout campaign, but he has still been very solid for fantasy managers, catching 33 of his 52 targets for 428 yards and one touchdown in six games played.
CeeDee Lamb has so far been slightly more productive, but fantasy managers cannot complain about his 52 targets, which are tied for eighth among all WRs. Pickens has had at least six receptions in four of his six games and has been targeted double-digit times on three occasions in Dallas' pass-happy offense. Pickens is a must-start against Philly if he is active on Monday.
Jameson Williams, Detroit Lions
Detroit Lions wide receiver Jameson Williams has been a big-time contributor for this offense over the last two games. Williams hauled in a season-high six receptions for 102 yards in Week 4. He followed that up with a two-touchdown performance win over the Arizona Cardinals.
Williams has shown that he can be the top option in an offense, but that isn't going to happen with Amon-Ra St. Brown on this roster. The Lions were on a bye this past week, but have a big game against the Green Bay Packers in Week 7. Given Williams' recent performances, he should see increased opportunities, which could put him in the WR2 conversation for this weekend.
DK Metcalf, Pittsburgh Steelers
Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver DK Metcalf's 15-target Week 6 outing was a sharp response to the four looks he got against Indianapolis the previous Sunday. He caught 11 passes for 93 yards in Pittsburgh's 26-19 overtime win over Tampa Bay, including nine receptions for 81 yards in the fourth quarter and overtime.
Aaron Rodgers acknowledged afterward that the offense shifted once Metcalf became more involved and said the Steelers need to find him earlier in games. That matters with Michael Pittman Jr. (foot) and Roman Wilson (finger) on injured reserve, which leaves Metcalf and rookie Germie Bernard as Pittsburgh's primary wideout options.
Bernard saw 12 targets of his own against the Buccaneers, and the extended comeback helped drive Metcalf's volume. Still, Metcalf has topped 90 receiving yards in two of his past three games after totaling just 98 over his first three. The thinner receiving corps and renewed involvement support a low-end WR2 outlook in PPR leagues for Week 7 against New Orleans.
