Hunter Henry 2026 Fantasy Football Outlook: Steady TE that has Become a Reliable Option in the Red Zone for New England
New England Patriots tight end Hunter Henry led the team with seven receiving touchdowns last season. Henry logged a career-high 708 receiving yards on 60 catches over 17 games. The 31-year-old has shown no signs of slowing down and owned 33.3% of the team's targets in the red zone. Henry is durable as they come and has logged 81 of 85 games for the Patriots. New England released Stefon Diggs, but added wide receivers A.J. Brown and Romeo Doubs this offseason. On top of Brown and Doubs, Henry will also compete for targets with Kayshon Boutte, DeMario Douglas, and Kyle Williams. The Patriots did let tight end Austin Hooper walk in free agency, but drafted Eli Raridon in the third round of the 2026 NFL Draft. Henry has been quarterback Drake Maye's most reliable target in the red zone, and even with the recent additions, his role around the goal line shouldn't change much. Henry finished as TE7 in fantasy football last year, but is ranked as RotoBaller's TE18, making him more of a streaming option in a positive matchup than a weekly starter in 2026.
