Casey Wilson's top DraftKings and FanDuel MLB DFS picks for today, Wednesday, 5/6/26. His favorite daily fantasy baseball lineup sleepers and value picks for DFS on DraftKings and FanDuel.
Tonight we have a nine-game slate that does not include Sutter Health Park, or a wind game at Wrigley Field. Outside of Coors Field, where there is awful hitting weather, there are no chalk spots. These are the types of slates where ownership will be distributed across different avenues, and we need to take some shots on low-rostered stacks, hoping to catch lightning in a bottle.
If you have not had a chance to check out my model, I will refer to it throughout this article. To get a better sense of where I am at not only on today's slate but every slate, please give it a look. My plays are solely based on numbers, and this model is the brain behind the operation.
This article will provide my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 5/6/2026, with the slate starting at 6:40 p.m. ET on FanDuel and DraftKings. The lineup picks will showcase elite players, mid-priced options, and value plays. You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for other sports here. Monitoring injury news and today's MLB starting lineups is always essential.
Top MLB DFS Pitcher for DraftKings, FanDuel
Will Warren, SP - NYY ($9.3K DK/$10.7K FD)
We have a lackluster slate of arms toeing the rubber tonight, and there are risks involved with every one of them. Will Warren will square off against the Texas Rangers at home this evening in what I would call above-average hitting conditions with a 60-degree temperature at first pitch, but a 10+ mph wind blowing out to LF.
Warren has been tremendous this season, pitching to a 2.60 xFIP, 30.3% K%, 1.06 WHIP, 0.96 HR/9, 32.0% FB%, and a 27.8% Hard Hit%. Over his last two starts, he has a 2.24 xFIP, 31.9% K%, 0.97 WHIP, and a 0.73 HR/9. He is pounding the zone and getting swings and misses.
The Rangers are a team at the current moment that does not scare me. They have a 22.6% K%, .727 OPS, and a 103 wRC+ against RHP in 2026. Over their L14 days, they have a 21.7% K%, .664 OPS, and an 88 wRC+. Although the strikeout upside is below average, there is safety in this spot for Warren, shown by the Rangers' 3.6 implied run total in my model. I am confident using Warren as my SP1 in all formats.

Miami Marlins (Model-Projected IRT of 5.3 runs) vs. Brandon Young
loanDepot is not a park I tend to go target heavily on the offensive side of things, but tonight the matchup with Brandon Young is so elite that I have no choice.
Young this season has a 5.27 xFIP, 1.64 WHIP, 1.84 HR/9, 44.4% FB%, and a 37.0% Hard Hit%. He has a 10.3% xK% with a 8.3% SwStr%. The only thing he has done well this season is throw strikes, but when you're allowing this much hard contact, being in the zone may not be a good thing.
This season, the Marlins have a .730 OPS and a 104 wRC+ against RHP. Young has allowed hard contact to both sides of the plate, and the Marlins are scattered with bats that are hot. I like them as a full value stack tonight.
Favorite Targets: Xavier Edwards, Liam Hicks, Otto Lopez, Kyle Stowers, Connor Norby
Top MLB DFS Hitter for DraftKings, FanDuel
Seiya Suzuki, OF - CHC ($5.4K DK/$3.5K FD)
Seiya Suzuki is my top bat tonight on the slate. He will square off against Brady Singer, who has gotten crushed by RHH in 2026. He has allowed a .576 SLG, 14.8% Brl%, and a 44.4% Hard Hit% to the split. Suzuki is slashing .316/.394/.587 with a .990 OPS and 5 HRs in 57 ABs this season against RHP.

He has a 1.017 OPS over his last 21 PA. I love pairing Suzuki with ole Mr. Reliable, Ian Happ, in Cubs stacks.
