Welcome back to our top starting pitcher fantasy baseball prospects to stash for Week 6 of the 2026 MLB season. This week, we saw Payton Tolle make his second start of the season and top hitting prospect Travis Bazzana earn the call to the big leagues.

Below, we will look at the top five pitching prospects to stash for this week of the fantasy baseball season. With the Mets placing a starter on the 15-day injured list, we have no imminent name in New York to monitor and a potent budding star in Chicago who could join Noah Schultz in the near future.

Robby Snelling, Miami Marlins

Currently At Triple-A

Without a doubt, Miami's Robby Snelling remains the priority name on our stash list. However, like last week, I wanted to give a quick update on Braxton Garrett, who is likely "first in line" to join the Miami rotation over Snelling. The veteran pitcher was unable to break camp with the MLB roster but has shown success in the majors before.

So far, Garrett is enjoying an incredible start to the Triple-A regular season. Through his first 261/3 innings (five starts), Garrett has struck out 26 hitters while holding a 1.71 ERA and a 0.68 WHIP. He would be the preferred name among the five "stash" names below, but since he is not a prospect, he will be treated as an honorable mention.

With that being said, let's check in on another dominant pitcher at Triple-A Jacksonville. Snelling is coming off his shakiest start of the young season, but remains among the top tier of prospects to stash. On April 24, Snelling allowed just two hits and two runs over five innings but was unable to command his pitches, allowing five walks while striking out just four hitters.

Before this modest effort, Snelling logged 19 innings (four starts) to the tune of an incredible 1.89 ERA with a 0.95 WHIP. He has struck out 31 hitters during this event while allowing just nine total free passes. In fact, Snelling was just as dominant during his first stint at Triple-A Jacksonville last summer, which suggests he may not face many growing pains once he reaches Miami.

During his first look at Triple-A in 2025, Snelling logged 63 2/3 innings with a 1.27 ERA, 0.99 WHIP, and an 81:17 K:BB. Earlier in the campaign, Snelling spent time with Double-A Pensacola and carried a much higher 3.61 ERA and a 1.22 WHIP. Seeing Snelling not only improve but look at his best while facing the top hitters in other leagues is an excellent sign.

Currently, the Marlins rotation is full, which does hinder Snelling's short-term upside. Additionally, there were some concerns about Janson Junk potentially losing his spot as the "No. 5" starter, but he tossed his second straight shutout on Tuesday night (against the Dodgers). While Chris Paddack (the No. 4 starter) has remained far from consistent, he does not appear in any danger of being demoted to the bullpen.

Snelling will have to wait for an injury burst for those in 12-team formats with N/A spots. Snelling should be viewed as a priority waiver wire target this week, as he could provide immense strikeout upside when he earns the call, similar to the hard-throwing lefty Schultz has shown on the South Side.

Logan Henderson, Milwaukee Brewers

Currently At Triple-A

Logan Henderson is one of two names on this week's list who had MLB experience. While the second name struggled in his first stint, Henderson was quite effective, making him a top-shelf option. Last summer, the Brewers turned to the young right-hander to make fire starts, and he looked more than comfortable in the big leagues, logging 25 1/3 innings to the tune of a 1.78 ERA and a 0.99 WHIP.

During this stint, the 24-year-old struck out 33 batters while maintaining a strong 8.1% BB%. However, the Brewers were heavily monitoring his innings, which kept him at Triple-A for most of the season. In the second half, he sustained a flexor strain, which ultimately cut his season short. However, Henderson returned to full strength by the start of spring training but fell short of the Opening Day roster.

He was sent to Triple-A Nashville, where he made one start (logged three one-hit innings), before earning the call to Milwaukee to make his sixth MLB start. However, unlike in 2025, Henderson's success in the majors did not translate to this spot start, as he allowed three hits and two runs over a brief two-inning appearance against the Royals.

As a result, the Brewers sent Henderson back to Triple-A to continue his development. Fortunately, since returning, Henderson has not only returned to his 2025 form but has also looked even more dominant, suggesting a return to the majors could be in the near future. Over his last 14 2/3 innings, the right-hander has allowed just two runs while posting a 21- 8 KBB.

Command has been an issue, but seeing him walk just one batter (matching season-low) in his most recent outing is a great sign for his fantasy value.

Like Snelling, Henderson does not have the clearest path to return to the big leagues, but when he does earn the call, he could find immediate success given his production at Triple-A and with Milwaukee last summer. He is a strong stash option in 12-team formats this week.

Thomas White, Miami Marlins

Currently At Triple-A

While White's path to the majors is not overly clear, he enters the week as a priority stash option, especially for those in deeper formats with N/A spots due to his upside alone. White was in the running to break camp with the MLB roster, like Snelling, but was unable to compete after sustaining an oblique injury early in camp.

However, following a rehab assignment, White has since returned to Tripel-A Jacksonville, where he has been as dominant as his teammates, Garrett and Snelling. Through two outings with the Jumbo Shrimp, the southpaw has posted a 1.13 ERA, 0.75WHIP, and a 14:3 K:BB. Even though White's track record in the upper minor leagues is not as long as Snelling's, White takes the cake as a pure prospect.

The former 35th overall pick entered the 2026 regular season as the team's No. 1-ranked prospect on MLB.com and the overall No. 11 in the sport.

In 2025, White began the campaign with High-A and held a strong 2.83 ERA, 1.11 WHIP, with a 53:17 K:BB. He was then bumped up to Double-A, where he needed just 10 starts before moving up to Triple-A. In these 10 outings (45 1/3 innings), White posted an elite 1.59 ERA, 11.9 WHIP, with 75 punchouts.

He concluded the campaign with Triple-A, where he allowed four earned runs (five runs) over 9 1/3 innings with a modest 17:10 K:BB. Seeing White not only show higher strikeout upside in his second stint, but also drastically lower his walk rate, suggests he is putting the final touches on his development.

While White will likely have to wait until Snelling and Garrett return to Miami, his upside on a pure "start-by-start" basis is much higher than both. If looking for a "Nick Kurtz" outcome from any rookie on this list, White should be the priority stash target.

Hagen Smith, Chicago White Sox

Currently At Triple-A

After spotlighting his teammate at Triple-A, Tanner McDougal, last week, I want to spotlight another budding arm in the Chicago system, Hagen Smith, who also resides at Triple-A. While McDougal may be just as near to his MLB debut, Smith is flashing much higher upside in the upper minors and could enjoy a similar trajectory that Schultz has put together over his first stint in the big leagues.

Smith joined the White Sox with the fifth overall selection in the 2024 MLB Draft out of Arkansas and has progressed through the system at an impressive rate. Following the draft, Smith was assigned to High-A, where he logged 7 2/3 innings with a 7:2 K:BB and a 3.52 ERA. To open his first professional campaign in 2025, the White Sox sent Smith to Double-A, where he spent the previous season.

Through 75 2/3 innings, the southpaw flashed high-end strikeout potential, totaling 108 punchouts with a solid 3.52 ERA. However, a major knock on his profile was his command, as he allowed a hefty 56 free passes to go along with a 1.30 WHIP. Out of spring training, the White Sox assigned Smith to Triple-A, making him just one step away from the big leagues.

While his command has remained just as shaky (15.2% BB% compared to a 17.6% BB% last season), Smith has done a great job in limiting the damage, posting a 2.33 ERA while striking out 29 hitters, over just 19 1/3 frames. The southpaw was enjoying a strong start to his season, in terms of command, allowing just five walks over his first 13 frames, but he has taken a step back, serving up eight walks over his last 6 1/3 innings.

Smith will need to continue to lower his walk rate to be in the mix for a promotion. As a result, McDougal is likely closer to a promotion, but Smith possesses far more upside when looking for punchouts in this system.

Jonah Tong, New York Mets

Currently At Triple-A

While McDougal, the injured River Ryan, and even Seattle's Kade Anderson are worthy of holding the final spot, we will instead give the nod to Jonah Tong of the Mets system. Tong, like Henderson, made his MLB debut last season but did not enjoy the same results, posting a rough 7.71 ERA and a 1.77 WHIP over his first 18 2/3 MLB innings.

During this short taste, Tong struck out 22 hitters but posted a high 10.3% BB% while generating a high 42.9% hard-hit rate. However, when progressing through the Mets system, Tong was racking up punchouts at a high level. Tong opened the campaign with double-A and logged 102 innings with a stellar 1.59 ERA and a 0.92 WHIP.

During this stint, Tong racked up 162 punchouts while allowing 44 free passes. He was then promoted to Triple-A Syracuse, where he found high-end success, allowing no runs over 11 2/3 innings. He totaled 17 strikeouts and walked only three batters before eventually earning the call to Queens in the second half.

While this success did not translate to the majors, Tong has quickly regained this form at Triple-A and could be in the mix to join the Mets sooner than anticipated, following the injury to Kodai Senga (back). Through 25 1/3 innings at Triple-A (six outings), Tong has posted a modest 5.68 ERA with a 1.38 WHIP. However, he has struck out 38 hitters while walking only 15.

However, his ratios are greatly skewed by his six-inning implosion on April 14. Removing that lone outing, Tong would carry a 4.35 ERA with a stellar 12.2 K/9.

Tong will need to show more sustained success, but his strikeout upside alone has put him back on the stash radar. With Senga on the 15-day injured list, New York's rotation depth is being tested. If Christian Scott (who was recently recalled) is unable to hold his own at the majors, expect them to turn to Tong in the coming weeks.
