We have some intriguing spots in today's article, with elite pitchers in good spots and good hitting weather, along with teams in great matchups. I'll provide recommendations for both FanDuel slates to help you fill lineups effectively.

Dylan Cease, SP - TOR ($9.9K DK/$10.2K FD Very Early Only)
Dylan Cease is my favorite cash-game and tournament-play on today's slate. He gets an elite matchup with the Chicago White Sox on the road in a park he is very familiar with pitching in.
This season, the White Sox have a 31.9% K% and a .609 OPS vs. RHP, with an 85 wRC+. Last season, they had a 22.7% K% and a .666 OPS against the split, with an 87 wRC+. We have tremendous pitching weather in Chicago today, with temperatures in the 50s and a slight breeze blowing in.
Cease was electric in his first start of 2026, posting a 0.61 xFIP, 54.5% K%, 26.7% SwStr%, and a 0.94 WHIP. In 2025, he posted a 3.56 xFIP. 29.8% K%, 15.6% SwStr, and a 1.33 WHIP. Something tells me Cease will be a bit more motivated in this spot, returning to the team that drafted him and where he debuted.

Cease is by far and away my top arm on today's slate.
DraftKings, FanDuel - MLB DFS Top Stack
Los Angeles Dodgers (Model Stack Grade- 250) vs. Miles Mikolas
The Dodgers will square off against Miles Mikolas at Nationals Park in good hitting conditions. It will be in the low 80s with a 10+ mph wind blowing out to right center field at first pitch today.
Mikolas is a pitcher who does not miss many bats, and against this Dodgers team, that is not a good recipe for success. Mikolas pitched to a 4.83 xFIP, 7.0% SwStr%, 1.32 WHIP, and a 1.67 HR/9 in 2025. In his first start of this season, he posted a 6.28 xFIP, 9.3% SwStr%, 1.80 WHIP, and a 1.80 HR/9.
The Dodgers are hot to start the season with a .750 OPS and a 118 wRC+ against RHP. In these conditions and matchups, it's impossible not to get to the best offense in baseball, no matter how high-rostered they are.

Last season, he allowed a .509 SLG, 16.2% Brl%, and a 48.6% Hard Hit% against RHH. Yandy Diaz is on fire to start the season. He is slashing .444/.474/.667 with a 1.140 OPS against RHP through 18 ABs this season.
