Former Ole Miss quarterback Austin Simmons is signing with Missouri, according to ESPN's Pete Thamel. Simmons was supposed to be the next prolific quarterback in Lane Kiffin's offense in Oxford after Jaxson Dart, but after suffering an injury and struggling early in the 2025 campaign, Trinidad Chambliss seized the QB1 job for the Rebels. The former four-star recruit ended his Ole Miss career with 1,026 yards, six touchdowns, and five interceptions in limited action. However, he appeared in 17 total games, and he has just two years of eligibility remaining. Eli Drinkwitz and the Tigers are hoping to turn their passing game around after a rough showing by Beau Pribula in conference play last season.--Jackson Sparks - RotoBaller
