Daily NBA Prop Bets - Top Player Props, Value Picks and Quick Odds (12/2/25)

Jalen Williams - NBA DFS Lineup Picks, Fantasy Basketball

Thunder Dan Palyo's top NBA prop bets for 12/2/25: expert player-prop picks, value plays, quick model edges and line-shopping tips for today’s slate. Check odds & get the edge.

The NBA schedule is finally starting to even out as we get a very solid slate of six games on the first Tuesday in December. The snow is falling here in Pennsylvania as I pen this article, but the prop picks in this piece have been running hot all season long. I bundled up this morning, stoked the fire, and found six different player props that I want to wager on in these games tonight.

Today's group of props is a good combination of established studs and emerging young players. As usual, we are focusing on at least a few players who have taken on bigger roles with their respective teams as a result of injuries to other players in their rotation.

In this article, I will provide my favorite NBA player props picks for Tuesday, December 2nd. Prop picks can range from individual stats—points, assists, rebounds, three-pointers made, and defensive stats —to combination props (Points + Rebounds + Assists = PRA). All odds and sportsbooks used are listed, but it's always a good idea to shop around, as odds change throughout the day as bets are placed. Let's get to the picks already. I loaded it up for tonight!

Today’s Best NBA Prop Bets & Player Props

Let’s take a look at the top player props for today’s NBA slate:

Josh Hart over 14.5 Rebounds and Assists (-130 FanDuel)

I have to start things off with one of my favorite props that I have been riding for the last week. Josh Hart has been simply fantastic for the Knicks since rejoining the starting lineup and is reminding everyone what he's capable of doing in his "glue guy" role with this team.

A lot of folks in the industry were down on Hart coming into the season because he was going to be sent to the bench while the Knicks played big with Mitchell Robinson at center and Karl-Anthony Towns at power forward. It hasn't worked out as Mitch-Rob can't seem to stay healthy, and the Knicks lost their other "do-everything" starter on the wing, OG Anunoby, to a long-term injury.

Hart is thriving in Anunoby's role, racking up boards and assists in huge chunks. He has 15 or more in four straight and five of his last six. Hart is now averaging 9.6 rebounds and 6.3 assists in the seven games that Anunoby has missed this season.

He went for 14 rebounds and three assists in the Knicks' only meeting with Boston back in October, and he did that in only 19 minutes off the bench. Look for Hart to continue to stack up boards and dimes tonight in what projects to be the closest (Knicks -1) and possibly highest-scoring (230.5 total) game on the slate.

Zach Edey over 11.5 Rebounds (-115 DraftKings)

I will admit that I didn't think Edey would be able to dominate at the NBA level, and I openly questioned Memphis for taking him in the first round of the draft last year. I could not have been more wrong, and it's actually been really great to see Edey work incredibly hard to transform his game (and his body) and find this type of success.

After missing the first month of the season, Edey was brought along slowly, with only around 25 minutes per game for his first week back. His minutes cap appears to be gone now, as he's played 35, 32, and 29 minutes over his last three games while piling up 15, 19, and 17 boards.

If we remove the Denver game on November 24th, when Edey left after only six minutes with an injury, he's averaging over 16 rebounds per game over his last four, with an incredible 24.4% rebounding rate. He has the size to dominate the glass, but he also has shown an impressive motor, tracking down boards, and blocking shots outside the restricted area. Edey is not just a big stiff who just gets boards and blocks from being taller than everyone else; he's shown some impressive athleticism for his size as well.

With no Victor Wembanyama on the other side, I expect Edey to stack up boards tonight against the likes of Luke Kornet and Kelly Olynyk with ease. This is a great bet to ladder up as well, as Edey's rebounding rate suggests that if he plays 30+ minutes again tonight, he could push for another 15+ rebound performance.

Jalen Williams over 10.5 Rebounds + Assists (-118 FanDuel)

Williams is back in the lineup for the defending champs and has shown absolutely no rust after missing the first five weeks of the season. He played 29 minutes in his debut and then 34 minutes in his second game and posted two very solid all-around stat lines in the process.

If anything might be rusty, it's his shooting, so let's go after his boards and assists prop tonight, which is set at just 10.5 even though he's gone for 12 and 13 in his first two games. With Isaiah Hartenstein out of the lineup, the Thunder shift Chet Holmgren to center and Williams over to power forward, where he tends to grab more rebounds. In 20 games without Hartenstein last season, he averaged 6.2 rebounds per game.

Williams is an excellent passer from the wing, too, and with the Thunder sharing the basketball better than any team in the league, he's very likely to rack up at least 5-6 more assists tonight against a Warriors team that has been, quite frankly, pretty bad defensively.

OKC is an 11.5-point favorite tonight, so there's a bit of blowout risk, but I also think Williams could eclipse this number in three quarters without us having to sweat it out in the fourth.

Top Value Props & Sleeper Picks

Betting on superstars is always exciting, but the best value often lies on the margins of a roster. Role players and emerging contributors can offer hidden edges, especially as the season wears on and injuries start to shake up rotations.

Let’s dive into some of the top value plays for today’s NBA slate.

Devin Vassell over 17.5 Points (-106 FanDuel)

The Spurs-Grizzlies matchup is the most featured game in my picks today for a good reason. Both teams are without their star players (the Spurs are actually without two stars with Wemby AND Stephon Castle out), and this game is one of three games tonight with a relatively tight spread (Spurs -5.5) and a very low chance of a blowout.

The Spurs have been playing well without their stars, winning six of eight games, but Memphis has also won five of its last six as Ja Morant continues to sit out. This game has a healthy 231 total and provides us with multiple prop betting opportunities when we start looking at which players have been picking up the slack for their respective teams.

Vassell has come on strong lately - scoring 23, 35, and 22 points in his last three games. His 21% usage rate without Wemby and Castle in the lineup trails only De'Aaron Fox and Dylan Harper on the team. He's attempted at least 17 shots in three straight games, and he'll need to continue that aggressiveness on offense as the Spurs don't have another scorer in the starting lineup other than Fox.

Saddiq Bey over 21.5 Points and Rebounds (+110 Fanatics)

The Pelicans have been a hot mess this year and a tough team to figure out for predictable stat outcomes. Zion Williamson missed a big chunk of time, Jordan Poole has been out for weeks, and rookies Derik Queen and Jeremiah Fears have both gone off at times, but have also been inconsistent and have had their minutes cut when their veteran backups are playing well.

But there has been one constant for the Pelicans lately, and it's been an aggressive and efficient Saddiq Bey in the starting lineup at the small forward position. Bey has reeled off five straight impressive performances as a starter, averaging 19.8 points and 10.4 rebounds in 34 minutes a night.

You can feel free to bet his points or rebounds props separately; he's gone 5-0 on both of them in this stretch, but I like the combined prop here, and I am taking it at 21.5 to get some better odds (some 20.5 lines are floating around out there, but probably not for long).

Like Edey's prop, this one could probably be laddered up a few extra steps, as Bey has been exceeding this number by a wide margin during his run. The matchup against the Wolves is a bit tougher than some of his recent games, but I still think he can get there quite easily tonight, given that he plays the same allotment of minutes.

Cam Spencer over 9.5 Points (-120 BetMGM)

If you have been following my waiver wire content or my daily bet recommendations this season, you have to know that I am a big fan of what Cam Spencer has been doing in his sophomore season in Memphis. He was not someone who was expected to have much of a role this season as the team brought in Ty Jerome from Cleveland and already had an excellent backup point guard on the roster in Scotty Pippen Jr. However, both of those players were hurt in the preseason, and so Spencer was thrust into some serious minutes when Ja Morant went down with an injury, too.

Spencer doesn't start, but it really doesn't matter. He's in a timeshare at point guard with Vince Williams Jr., who is a better pure passer and therefore fits better along the higher usage players in the starting lineup, such as Jaylen Wells and Jaren Jackson Jr.

Spencer has been a huge spark with the second unit, shooting the three-ball with impressive accuracy. He's scored at least 10 points in five straight games and six of his last seven. His minutes can fluctuate from 20 to as high as 28 per game, but his efficient shooting means he can get across this low bar even in games where he gets less run.
