Troy Franklin Continues Emergence as Broncos WR1
Denver Broncos wide receiver Troy Franklin caught his fourth touchdown in four weeks in Thursday's 10-7 win over the Las Vegas Raiders. He finished with five catches for 40 yards and a touchdown in Thursday's victory. Broncos head coach Sean Payton has consistently schemed Franklin into the offense as the season has progressed, and Franklin once again paced the team in targets with nine. The 22-year-old continued to have some disappointing plays, one in particular in which he earned a target that could've been a good chunk of yardage, which bounced off his chest to become an interception in the fourth quarter. Franklin certainly rewarded those who trusted him enough as a WR3/ flex option in Week 10 lineups, and he will look to find the end zone again in next Sunday's matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs.
