Best Week 7 Defense Streamers - Fantasy Football DST Pickups and Starts

Myles Garrett - Cleveland Browns DST, Fantasy Football Defense Rankings, D/ST Streamers, Waiver Wire, IDP Pickups

The top Week 7 defense streamers - fantasy football D/ST pickups, streamers and starts for 2025. Target these fantasy DST streaming options with strong matchups.

Streaming the right defense can pay significant dividends for your fantasy matchup. Those who targeted the Denver Broncos or Los Angeles Rams last weekend likely secured the victory due to their dominant showings alone.

In this piece, we will highlight four top streaming options that are widely available in all formats for Week 7.

Who should fantasy managers look to target on the waiver wire and plug into their starting lineup? Let's dive in!

Top Week 7 Defense Streamers (D/ST)

Only defenses rostered in fewer than 65% of fantasy football leagues are considered potential streamers.

Chicago Bears vs. NO
35% Rostered

Streaming the defense that will face the New Orleans Saints is never a bad idea. Last weekend, the Saints scored just 19 points during their loss to the Patriots. In this contest, Spencer Rattler was sacked twice and did not throw any passing scores. The Bears are coming off an impressive victory in which they defeated the Commanders, holding Jayden Daniels to just 24 points.

The Saints enter this game holding the fifth-lowest PPG mark (18.5), which gives the Bears a safe floor and a high ceiling.

Carolina Panthers at NYJ
15% Rostered

The Panthers may have the best matchup on the slate. They will line up against the New York Jets, who are coming off potentially the worst offensive showing of the campaign. In their loss to the Broncos on Sunday, the Jets allowed nine sacks and totaled just 82 yards from scrimmage.

While the Panthers' defense has not been overly impressive, tallying the fewest sacks in the sport and allowing the 11th-most PPG, they could enjoy their best showing of the campaign facing the Jets. If top wideout Garrett Wilson (knee) is ruled out, the Panthers could push for top-5 upside as the New York offense could struggle even more.

Miami Dolphins at CLE
5% Rostered

Similar to Carolina, while Miami has struggled on the defensive side of the ball this season, its matchup this weekend pushes them into streaming territory. They will face Dillon Gabriel and the Cleveland Browns. Through his first two NFL starts, Gabriel has shown promise at times but has yet to score 20 points in a single game.

Last weekend, Gabriel and the Browns scored just nine points against the Steelers and allowed a hefty six sacks. While the Dolphins enter this game allowing the most rushing yards per game, which will open the door for Quinshon Judkins to have his way, expect the Dolphins to post a solid sack total in this game.

They could also allow under 20 total points to a struggling Cleveland offense, which provides them a strong ceiling.

Cleveland Browns vs. MIA
25% Rostered

The final streaming option is on the other side of this matchup. Unlike the Dolphins, the Browns have been one of the top defense units in the league this season, allowing the third-fewest rushing yards per game and the eighth-fewest passing yards per game. However, this elite play has yet to translate to the box scores, as they have allowed the 12th-most points per game.

However, expect positive regression to kick in significantly when facing a struggling Miami Dolphins team that has allowed at least two sacks in each of their last two games. While they have a tougher matchup on paper, facing De'Von Achane and Jaylen Waddle, the Browns could be poised to enjoy their most productive outing of the campaign, given the success they have shown.

Improvements For Who Should I Start? You may have noticed that our Who Should I Start? tool has gotten an overhaul. We've added lots of great features for you to give you as much information as possible to win your fantasy football matchups each week. You'll see NFL player tiles with headshots and bye weeks, stats, projections, strength of schedule, player news, and enhanced search results with data to compare with a slick new interface. How It Works. Each week, our RotoBaller staff puts together their weekly fantasy football rankings and projections based on their research. If someone is out for the week, they will not appear in the search results.

Scoring Formats. Fantasy football managers play in various types of leagues, and this tool allows you to choose whether it's PPR scoring, Half-PPR scoring, or Standard (Non-PPR) scoring. The second thing you want to do is to select the scoring format. There are three small radio buttons (small circles), so click on the scoring format you prefer. The results may vary based on the scoring format you select.
