Puka Nacua Injured Thumb Sunday, Was Able to Finish Game
Puka Nacua (thumb) told the media that he "got rolled up on one of the run plays" during Sunday's Week 4 win over the Indianapolis Colts. He was taken to the locker room and underwent X-rays, but when those tests came back clean, he returned to the game and played the rest of the contest. He finished on a strong note, wrapping up the victory with 15 targets, 13 catches, 170 yards, and one touchdown. The 24-year-old further solidified himself as the highest-scoring receiver in fantasy football, as he now has 15 more points (PPR) than the next-highest scorer, Amon-Ra St. Brown. Managers will want to monitor updates on Nacua's thumb going forward, but the fact that he was able to finish the game Sunday is a good sign for his status against the San Francisco 49ers on Thursday Night Football in Week 4.
