Blake Corum Continues Gaining Trust
Blake Corum gained 53 yards on eight carries in Sunday's 33-26 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. Los Angeles collapsed late after commanding a significant lead over the reigning Super Bowl champions. Still, Corum continued to see an increase in his volume for the second straight week. Backfield mate Kyren Williams had handily outsnapped him 92-28 through the first two weeks, and did so again on Sunday (50-16). However, the 24-year-old has been the more efficient runner, posting three yards more per carry than his veteran counterpart (7.1). Corum won't be seizing the RB1 role in LA any time soon, but he's firmly on the high-end handcuff radar. We'll see if he can continue trending up when the Rams take on the surprise 3-0 Indianapolis Colts in Week 4.
