Jack Kochanowicz Optioned to Triple-A
Jack Kochanowicz was optioned to Triple-A Salt Lake on Thursday. Kochanowicz will head to the minors after getting crushed for 10 earned runs over 3.1 innings during Wednesday's loss to the Texas Rangers. It has been a disaster of a season for Kochanowicz who holds a 6.81 ERA and 1.75 WHIP across 111.0 innings with the Angels this season. Clearly, he still has things to work out in the minor leagues, but Kochanowicz does have promising upside. In a corresponding move, left-hander Tyler Anderson was reinstated off the paternity list. Anderson is scheduled to take the ball against the Houston Astros on Friday.
