Olamide Zaccheaus Making Plays in Training Camp, Set for Big Role in Chicago?
Olamide Zaccheaus "might lead the team in training camp receptions," according to Kevin Fishbain of The Athletic. Wide receivers coach and passing game coordinator Antwaan Randle El described Zaccheaus as "the F-receiver in this offense." Zaccheaus played in 17 games last season for the Washington Commanders, recording 45 receptions for 506 yards and three touchdowns. He's part of a crowded wide receiver room in Chicago that also includes DJ Moore, Rome Odunze, and rookie Luther Burden III. However, it sounds as though the Bears plan to utilize Zaccheaus in a fairly consistent role. His usage could cut into the fantasy outlooks for Chicago's top three receivers, so it's something to monitor when the first-team offense gets reps in the team's second preseason game on Sunday.
