The Colorado Rockies announced on Wednesday that they placed infielder Thairo Estrada (hamstring) on the 10-day injured list with a strained right hamstring and recalled infielder Adael Amador from Triple-A Albuquerque in a corresponding move. Amador is starting at second base and hitting eighth in Wednesday's series finale against the visiting Toronto Blue Jays and right-hander Kevin Gausman. Estrada will land on the IL for the third time this year after pulling his hamstring while running out a grounder in Tuesday's loss. The 29-year-old was using crutches after the game, suggesting that he probably won't be ready to return in 10 days. The Venezuelan hasn't been fantasy relevant in mixed leagues with a .253 average (39-for-154) with three homers and 21 RBI in 2025. Amador will be an option at the keystone along with Orlando Arcia, Kyle Farmer and Tyler Freeman.--Keith Hernandez
