Jordan Westburg Day-to-Day with Finger Injury
Jordan Westburg (finger) suffered a jammed finger in the team's 9-0 loss to the New York Yankees on Saturday, manager Tony Mansolino announced. Westburg started the game at DH, but he had to depart early after drawing a walk and stealing a base. X-rays came back negative, and the Orioles are "hoping it's day-to-day," Mansolino said. The Orioles are optimistic that Westburg will avoid a stint on the injured list, though fantasy managers should monitor his status over the next few days. Westburg previously spent over a month on the IL with a hamstring injury. He came back June 10 and has since hit .256/.326/.538 with three home runs and eight RBI in 11 games.
