MLB DFS Picks Today: Daily Fantasy Baseball Strategy and Tips For FanDuel, DraftKings (5/24/25)

Oneil Cruz - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, Draft Sleepers, MLB Prospects

Koby's top DraftKings and FanDuel MLB DFS picks for today, Saturday, 5/24/25. His favorite daily fantasy baseball lineup sleepers and value picks for DFS on DraftKings and FanDuel.

Welcome Back, RotoBallers! We have an eight-game slate on DraftKings and a seven-game slate on FanDuel as our MLB main for today. The only difference is that FanDuel has elected not to have the Orioles/Red Sox game that was postponed yesterday for today's slate. Other than that, it is business as usual. Let's dive in!

This article will provide my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 5/24/2025. I'll focus my picks on both sites' main slate starting at 4:05 p.m. EDT. The lineup picks showcase elite players, mid-priced options, and value plays to help you build those winning MLB DFS lineups!

You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for other sports here. Monitoring injury news and today's MLB starting lineups is always essential.

DraftKings, FanDuel Pitchers - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

It's a solid pitching slate, but here are some of my favorites!

Max Fried - NYY at COL ($8.3K DK; $11K FD)

Max Fried against Colorado, and he's the fifth most expensive option on DK? Sign me up. He has a quality start in all but two games this season and hasn't given up more than two runs all season.

The only negative to this spot is that he is pitching in Coors Field. Outside of that, Colorado has the fifth-worst wRC+ at 52 against lefties in May. To go along with that, Colorado has a 26.3% K%, and Max Fried has a 24% K% himself. Even with a poor park factor, Fried is a home run play.

Mitch Keller - PIT vs. MIL ($7.2K DK; $9K FD)

Mitch Keller might go overlooked for some of the more pricey options on the slate. Keller gets a good matchup, though, as the Milwaukee Brewers haven't been great against RHP this month. They have the second-worst wRC+ and a decent high K% at 23%.

Keller has looked great in three straight starts, going 6+ innings in all three and getting the QS. He has only one win on the season, but that's more due to Pittsburgh's offense being putrid rather than Mitch being bad.

Michael King - SDP at ATL ($9.5K DK; $10K FD)

It's a little risky with the Braves getting Ronald Acuna Jr. back. But after watching Pivetta hold them to one run, I think King can do the same. Atlanta has a just below average wRC+ this month, and with King's 28.3% K% on top of an 11.2% SwStr%, he should be able to go deep in this game as well as get a few strikeouts. Pivetta was able to strike out seven yesterday, I could see King do the same, if not more.

Also Consider: Bryan Woo - SEA at HOU ($8.7K DK; $10.4K FD), Jack Leiter- TEX at CWS ($7.4K DK; $8.4K FD)

DraftKings, FanDuel Infielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Paul Goldschmidt, 1B - NYY vs. Kyle Freeland ($5.3K DK; $3.8K FD)

Kyle Freeland has been destroyed by RHH this season, and Goldschmidt is crushing LHP. He has an SLG of 1.000 and 21 hits in 39 ABs! He will be extremely highly owned, but I can't ignore the potential for a massive game out of Goldy. I would argue Goldy in this spot over Aaron Judge, especially at the price difference. Goldschmidt even has a slightly higher wOBA than Judge against LHP this season.

Dylan Moore, 2B/SS/3B (FanDuel Only) - SEA vs. Framber Valdez ($4.5K DK; $3K FD)

Dylan Moore loves going against his LHP. He has a .818 SLG against them with 12 hits in 33 ABs, with five of those being home runs. I love Moore as a cheap option who is a multi-tool player who can get on base and steal a couple in the process.

Framber has given up 20 of his 25 runs to RHH this season. Dylan is hitting the ball hard this season, and I love FanDuel where I can use him in multiple spots, making him super flexible.

Rafael Devers, 3B - BOS vs. Trevor Rogers ($5K DK)

This one is for those on DraftKings. Devers is red hot right now, he has 11 hits in his last six games. Six of those hits were for home runs. It looks like Trevor Rogers is going to start in this one against Boston.

Rogers' last season was hit pretty hard by LHH. LHH had a .369 wOBA and .455 SLG against him. Devers isn't hitting LHP for as much power as he does RHP, but he is still hitting the ball well against them with a .300 AVG.

Also Consider: Cal Raleigh - C ($5.8K DK; $3.8K FD), Dansby Swanson - SS ($4.7K DK; $3.2K FD), Isaac Paredes - 3B ($4.3K DK; $3.2K FD)

DraftKings, FanDuel Outfielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Oneil Cruz, SS (FanDuel Only)/OF - PIT vs. Quinn Priester ($6.1K DK; $3.7K FD)

Oneil Cruz is crushing right now, he has four hits, four walks, two home runs, and two stolen bases in his last four games. Cruz has crushed RHP, too, with seven home runs to go along with a .394 wOBA and a .541 SLG. He also has 20+ fantasy points in three of those last four games and now gets a great matchup against Quinn Priester, who has allowed LHH to SLG.448 and has a wOBA of .363.

Mike Yastrzemski, OF - SFG vs. Jake Irvin ($3.9K DK; $2.9K FD)

Mike has been on a bit of a cold streak, but I think this is a good spot for him against Jake Irvin, whom he has a home run against in past ABs. Yastrzemski has a .360 wOBA and .447 SLG against RHP, including four of his five home runs on the season. I think this is the perfect get-right spot for him, and he could go low-owned.

Will Benson, OF - CIN vs. Collin Rea ($3.5K DK; $3K FD)

Will Benson is one of the hottest hitters in the MLB right now. He has five home runs in his last seven games, and they all happen to be against RHP. Collin Rea has been worse against LHH. He also gets plus park factors in Cincinnati. I could see Benson going yard here and being a solid one-off option on this slate.

Also Consider: Trent Grisham - OF ($5.4K DK; 3.7K FD), Pete Crow-Armstrong - OF ($5.5K DK; $3.7K FD), Jung Hoo Lee - OF ($4.1K DK; $3.1K FD)

DraftKings, FanDuel MLB DFS Stacks

New York Yankees (7 implied run total) vs. Kyle Freeland (COL)

Yankees against an LHP in Coors Field? This is a cash dream, but also a chalk nightmare. They will go highly owned, but no one else compares to them in this spot. They are the safest stack on the slate.

San Francisco Giants (4.7 implied run total) vs. Jake Irvin (WSN)

The Giants have been above average against RHP this month and make for an interesting GPP stack against Jake Irvin, who has an xERA of 5.63 and has been getting hit very hard by LHH. Good thing the Giants have a couple of those in Jung Hoo Lee and Mike Yastrzemski.

SNEAKY STACK: Seattle Mariners (3.7 implied run total) vs. Framber Valdez (HOU)

It's a bit risky, but Seattle has been sneaky good against LHP this month. They have the fifth-best wRC+ in the league at 135 and the fifth-best BB% at 10.5%. Framber did well against Seattle at the beginning of the season, but this Mariners offense is much better recently. I think we could see a few Crawford box home runs from the right side of the plate.
