Every Quarterback Selected In The 2025 NFL Draft: Full List and Analysis For Each Pick

Shedeur Sanders - College Football Rankings, NCAA CFB DFS Lineup Picks

Jackson's list of every quarterback selected in the 2025 NFL Draft. Full list of all 13 QBs picked with analysis for each selection. Read the post-draft analysis.

Cam Ward - College Football Rankings, NCAA CFB DFS Lineup Picks, NFL Draft Prospect

1. Cam Ward, Tennessee Titans

Pick: 1.01
School: Miami (FL)

Ward was the expected pick for Tennessee for months, and it became official on Thursday night. The team added two wideouts and a tight end in Round 4 in an attempt to surround Ward with more playmakers. He seems to be pro-ready, but most quarterbacks have growing pains as rookies.

Jaxson Dart - College Football Rankings, NCAA CFB DFS Lineup Picks

2. Jaxson Dart, New York Giants

Pick: 1.25
School: Ole Miss

Some viewed Dart as the second-best quarterback in the class, while others preferred Shedeur Sanders. It was evidently an easy choice for New York, which traded up to add Dart to its QB room featuring Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston. 2025 could be a full “redshirt” year for the gunslinger.

Tyler Shough - NFL Draft Prospects, fantasy football rookie rankings

3. Tyler Shough, New Orleans Saints

Pick: 2.08
School: Louisville

Shough, who spent time at Oregon, Texas Tech, and Louisville, was a late riser in the pre-draft process. With Derek Carr dealing with a shoulder injury, his future in the Big Easy is uncertain. It’s reasonable to expect Shough to see playing time in Year 1.

Jalen Milroe - College Football Rankings, NCAA CFB DFS Lineup Picks

4. Jalen Milroe, Seattle Seahawks

Pick: 3.38
School: Alabama

Milroe is one of the most dynamic runners we’ve seen from a quarterback prospect in years. He has rushing upside similar to Lamar Jackson and Justin Fields, but his passing game needs plenty of work before he’s ready to hit the NFL field. To start, he’ll likely back up Sam Darnold and Drew Lock in 2025. This was a low-risk, high-reward selection.

Dillon Gabriel - College Football Rankings, NCAA CFB DFS Lineup Picks

5. Dillon Gabriel, Cleveland Browns

Pick: 3.30
School: Oregon

Gabriel was prolific at UCF, Oklahoma, and Oregon during his fantastic collegiate career. He lacks prototypical NFL size and mobility, but he’s experienced and could develop into a high-end backup or part-time starter.

Shedeur Sanders - College Football Rankings, NCAA CFB DFS Lineup Picks

6. Shedeur Sanders, Cleveland Browns

Pick: 5.06
School: Colorado

This was the story of the 2025 NFL Draft. Sanders was expected by many to be a top-10 selection, but the media and mock drafters clearly had it wrong. Now in Cleveland, he’ll compete with Joe Flacco, Kenny Pickett, and Dillon Gabriel for a roster spot.

Kyle McCord - NFL Draft Prospects, fantasy football rookie rankings

7. Kyle McCord, Philadelphia Eagles

Pick: 6.05
School: Syracuse

After being run out of town at Ohio State, McCord led the nation in passing and led the Orange to 10 wins in 2025. What a response for the former big-time recruit. Obviously, Jalen Hurts is the clear starter in Philly, but we’ve seen his backups, Gardner Minshew II and Kenny Pickett, get playing time over the last few seasons. This is a nice landing spot for development.

Will Howard - College Football Rankings, NCAA CFB DFS Lineup Picks

8. Will Howard, Pittsburgh Steelers

Pick: 6.09
School: Ohio State

After a great career at Kansas State, Will Howard got the Buckeyes back over the hump and won a College Football Playoff National Championship. Now, he’s headed to a great organization with uncertainty at quarterback. As things stand, Aaron Rodgers is not on the roster, but the belief is he’ll sign with Pittsburgh at some point. Either way, Howard should at least get the chance to compete for a backup role.

Riley Leonard - College Football Rankings, NCAA CFB DFS Lineup Picks

9. Riley Leonard, Indianapolis Colts

Pick: 6.13
School: Notre Dame

Leonard is not necessarily a polished passer, but he’s a high-effort quarterback and a fantastic locker room presence. Although it’s tough for a sixth-round pick to earn playing time, Anthony Richardson and Daniel Jones don’t exactly present fierce competition. At worst, Leonard could stick around as a long-term NFL backup.

Houston Texans - NFL Stock Image, Logo

10. Graham Mertz, Houston Texans

Pick: 6.21
School: Florida

This selection was somewhat of a surprise. Mertz began his college career at Wisconsin before heading down to Gainesville, where he was splitting time with a true freshman at the end of his career. The Texans saw something they liked, and he could push Davis Mills for the backup role behind C.J. Stroud.

Las Vegas Raiders - NFL LOGO, STOCK

11. Cam Miller, Las Vegas Raiders

Pick: 6.39
School: North Dakota State

Cam Miller is a two-time FCS National Champion and joins Carson Wentz and Trey Lance as recent NDSU quarterbacks to hear their names called in the NFL Draft. He’ll enter his rookie campaign competing with Aidan O’Connell for the QB2 spot behind Geno Smith.

Kurtis Rourke - College Football Rankings, NCAA CFB DFS Lineup Picks

12. Kurtis Rourke, San Francisco 49ers

Pick: 7.11
School: Indiana

Kurtis Rourke was the leader of the 2024 Indiana team that shattered expectations and appeared in the College Football Playofff, and that means something to NFL evaluators. Kyle Shanahan clearly liked what he saw, so Rourke is headed to the Bay to compete with Mac Jones behind Brock Purdy.

Quinn Ewers - College Football Rankings, NCAA CFB DFS Lineup Picks

13. Quinn Ewers, Miami Dolphins

Pick: 7.15
School: Texas

Ewers posted a 27-9 record as a starter in Austin and led the Longhorns to two consecutive CFP semifinal appearances. Evidently, that wasn’t enough to make him better than a Round 7 pick in the NFL Draft. The kid is talented, but he hasn’t put it all together. Working with Mike McDaniel is sure to help.
