DraftKings NBA DFS Picks for Today (Thursday, 3/27/25): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

Jarrett Allen - Fantasy Basketball Rankings, Draft Sleepers, Waiver Wire Pickups

Dan's top DraftKings NBA DFS picks for today, Thursday, 3/27/25. His favorite daily fantasy basketball lineup sleepers and value picks for DraftKings DFS.

Today might be MLB opening day, but the NBA stops for no one! We have six games on the docket tonight, and there are contests to be entered and won! Let's see where we want to attack this slate and which players we want to feature in our lineups tonight.

Let's dive in and find some good options to build around from a DFS perspective on DraftKings. If you're looking for FanDuel-specific advantage, check out Koby Hanson's FanDuel picks!

This article will provide you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 3/27/25. Remember to monitor NBA injury news and our awesome NBA injuries report tool, as the slate can completely change before lineups lock at 7:00 p.m. EST on DraftKings.

DraftKings NBA DFS Core Picks

Tyrese Haliburton, IND – PG ($8.7K)

I featured Haliburton yesterday in my FD piece, and he didn't disappoint, turning in a 16-point, 18-assist performance against the Lakers.

Tonight, he gets a fantastic matchup against the Wizards, who have been one of the worst defensive teams in the league all season. The Wizards have allowed the third-most DK points to opposing point guards this season, and I would expect Haliburton to get his and continue to pile up double-digit assists with a full complement of weapons around him.

Jarrett Allen, CLE – C ($6.8K)

Allen should be featured tonight as the Cavs are resting his fellow frontcourt-mate, Evan Mobley, out of the lineup. The Spurs have been soft on the interior since Wemby went down, so Allen could have a field day on the glass and catching lobs from Donovan Mitchell.

Allen should be a popular play in cash games at this price, but his ownership will be well-deserved as he has a high floor and ceiling in this pot. The Cavs' offense is so efficient, and Allen should be good for a 40-spot tonight if they feed him in the paint, as I expect them to do.

Scotty Pippen Jr. - PG ($6,000)

Pippen started the last game as Ja Morant missed yet another contest and will be out again tonight. He needed only 24 minutes against Utah to pile up 41 DK points as he shot a very efficient 7-8 from the floor and dished out ten assists.

The matchup against OKC is tougher tonight, but Pippen should also play more minutes in this one, as it should be a competitive game. He's still underpriced for his production on a per-minute basis and a minute projection of around 28-30 tonight.

Others Under Consideration: Luka Doncic - PG ($12K), Shai Gilgeous-Alexander - PG ($10.9K)

DraftKings NBA DFS Tournament Pivots

Coby White, CHI - SG/SF ($8.3K)

White is probable for tonight's rematch with the Lakers, but his fellow Bulls' backcourt mate Josh Giddey is questionable. Both guys have been outstanding lately in leading a resurgence in Chicago, as the Bulls have been a winning team over the last month.

Chicago rolled over the LeBron-less Lakers two games ago, making quick work of their defense. If Giddey is out, White will become a lock-button auto-play. But if Giddey does play, I like him and White as GPP spend-ups with White being my favorite of the two as he's $1,200 cheaper with a similar ceiling.

Alexandre Sarr, WAS - C ($6.4K)

I have had major trust issues with the Wizards and their late-season rotations, but Sarr is one rookie who seems to have a pretty secure role and spot in the starting lineup. He played 31 and 32 minutes in his last two games, logging 32 and 42 DK points.

Sarr is an ultra-athletic big man who can stretch the floor and has been given the green light to shoot more recently, as his 17 and 19 attempts from the floor in the last two games indicate. I like the matchup here, as Indiana is on a back-to-back, and Myles Turner is a badly overrated defender.

Others Under Consideration: Paolo Banchero - PF ($9.9K), Bam Adebayo - PF/C ($8.3K)

DraftKings NBA DFS Value Picks

Keldon Johnson, SAS – SF/PF ($4.7K)

Keldon has had a few down games but is still too cheap for his high-usage bench role. The Cavs are awesome, but their bench unit plays a little more loose and free - Johnson could do work tonight.

Anthony Black, ORL - PG ($4K)

Black has been outstanding lately, scoring 29, 37, and 33 DK points in his last three games. The Magic will be without Cole Anthony again tonight against Dallas, and so I think we'll see more than 30+ minutes from Black as Orlando tried to ride his hot shooting.

Davion Mitchell, MIA – PG ($4K)

Mitchell continues to log 30+ minutes for the Heat and has scored 12 actual points in five straight games. He's a solid defender who racks up steals, but his assist numbers have been on the rise, too, as he settles into his role with the first unit. He's a great bargain again tonight at this price and in what should be a good game environment.

Wendell Carter Jr., ORL - C ($5.2K)

Dallas has been getting hammered by opposing big men since they lost all their frontcourt players to injury. Anthony Davis could play in this one, but WCJ is still too cheap for his minutes and offensive skill set.

Others Under Consideration: Dalen Terry - SG/SF ($3.2K), Max Strus - SG/SF ($4.3K), Alex Caruso - PG/SF ($3.9K)
